Brandon was excellent! Sights were amazing! Schedule was a bit aggressive. Coach lacked comfort, ie. no leg room, no cup holders, etc.

FIRST AND FOREMOST- any one showing signs of exposure to cold and flu must be made to take precautions- one careless person affected 40 others!!!! The free time is built in for when everything (traffic, lost passengers, ferry delays) is perfect - they need to widen the time frames. There was not enough free time to even relax before dinner. We were first time travellers and could have used instruction booklets for hotel procedures ahead of time. North America’s perception of a 4 star hotel is different. Many elderly people require their medication to be refrigerated and there only 3 out of 10 hotels with that option. Our guide Diermaid and driver Lee were absolutely wonderful and showed an infinite amount of caring and patience. More time in the country compared to the city but all and all a fabulous first Tour

Anna, our guide, was excellent. She was very informative, knew her history of the area very well, had a quick wit and a great sense of humor, was so calm no matter the situation and treated everyone within the tour with courtesy and equal. Our driver, Steve, was tremendous and the calmest driver I have encountered, no matter the lack of space at times. Both made this trip a wonderful experience! Thanks for having us on the tour! Best time to visit England, Ireland and Scotland
- Spring 2026
Spring tours across Britain and Ireland typically run 10-19 days and offer solid value as temperatures start rising. The most requested routes take you through the Roman Baths in Bath, up to Edinburgh Castle and along Ireland's Cliffs of Moher. Spring really shows off the countryside - you'll see the raw beauty of the Scottish Highlands while Wales comes alive with daffodils in every direction. Our tours blend city discoveries with country charm - one morning you're exploring Oxford's college courtyards, then by afternoon you're watching border collies work their magic with sheep flocks in the Lake District. Travelers consistently praise how the guides bring historical sites to life, especially at places like Hadrian's Wall and Trinity College Dublin.

- Summer 2026
Summer means long daylight hours, letting us pack more into each day. Popular routes cover the classic sites but also include seasonal events like the Edinburgh Military Tattoo in August. Our guests love joining in traditional Scottish ceilidhs, taking in the Ring of Kerry's coastal views and exploring York's medieval streets and alleyways. Tours often include special experiences - you might find yourself out on Loch Ness, learning distillery secrets in the Highlands or watching master craftspeople at Waterford Crystal. The guides are experts at timing - they know exactly when to visit busy sites to dodge the crowds and also how to find quiet moments even in popular summer spots.

- Fall / Autumn 2026
Fall tours run 10-19 days with fewer crowds and landscapes turning golden and red. Well-loved routes combine Stonehenge, the Giant's Causeway, Cambridge and also Oxford with their historic university atmospheres. Our travelers appreciate how we mix city exploration with countryside charm - mornings might find you discovering Dublin's Georgian squares while afternoons take you through Cotswolds villages where time seems to stand still. The cooler autumn weather works perfectly for castle visits, and guides time the arrivals at Eilean Donan Castle or Urquhart Castle for the best light and smallest crowds. Many guests mention how much they value having both guided highlights and free time to discover places like Galway and Chester on their own terms.

What's the best way to really experience local culture when you're traveling through England Scotland and Ireland?
You'll want to dive into those amazing centuries-old traditions that really bring these places to life. Jump into a Ceilidh in the Scottish Highlands where you'll find yourself swept up in traditional music and dancing with locals who'll teach you the steps. The Irish pub scene is absolutely fantastic especially in places like the Merry Ploughboy in Dublin where you can enjoy dinner and live music or head to Galway's pubs where locals and visitors mix naturally. Pub culture is really the heart of social life across all three countries and you'll find it's the perfect way to chat with locals while sampling regional drinks and getting a real feel for daily life.
What routes should you take to explore those stunning natural areas beyond the cities?
The Scottish Highlands are just incredible with their rugged mountains lochs and glens you can drive yourself or hop on an organized tour to make things easier. The "Road to the Isles" is particularly special and you'll want to stop at Glenfinnan Monument for some amazing photos. Over in Ireland the Ring of Kerry is absolutely stunning whether you're driving it yourself or taking a guided tour you'll find dramatic cliffs and charming villages around every bend. The Lake District in England is a UNESCO site that's perfect for hiking cycling or taking boat trips and you really should try that optional cruise on Lake Windermere where you'll glide past northern shores deserted islands and Wray Castle.
Where can you find those amazing less-crowded spots that are still culturally or naturally significant?
The Orkney Islands off Scotland's coast are absolutely fascinating with Neolithic settlements like Skara Brae and some of the most dramatic coastal scenery you'll ever see just catch a ferry over. Pembrokeshire in Wales is a hidden gem you can reach by train or car with this incredible coastline traditional villages and historic sites like Pembroke Castle where Henry VII was born. Then there's Connemara in Ireland which is just wild and beautiful perfect for scenic drives and hikes while still holding onto that authentic Irish culture.
What local dishes should you try and where's the best place to find them?
You've got to try haggis Scotland's national dish it comes with neeps & tatties and you might even catch the Ceremony of the Haggis during a traditional Scottish evening. The full Irish breakfast is something special with its mix of bacon sausage eggs and black pudding you'll find it pretty much everywhere in Ireland. And don't miss a proper English Sunday roast with Yorkshire pudding and all the trimmings especially in York where lots of tours include it at local restaurants. These aren't just meals they're really part of the cultural experience.
