- Spring 2026
Spring opens up some fantastic garden-focused tours, especially around London's Chelsea Flower Show. These 10-day journeys line up perfectly with peak bloom at Monet's gardens in Giverny, and you'll catch Versailles when the tulips and early flowers are just right. Our guests particularly enjoy stopping at the massive flower auction in Aalsmeer and seeing Amsterdam's spring displays. These tours fill up fast since you're getting perfect garden conditions and really nice walking weather for exploring London's Royal Parks and the Luxembourg Gardens in Paris.

- Summer 2026
Summer brings out our longest tours - full 23-day journeys that make great use of those long daylight hours. You'll get Seine River cruises, Tower Bridge visits and plenty of outdoor activities. Many routes head down to the French Riviera for boat trips to Saint-Tropez and time exploring Nice. Our travelers really appreciate the early starts to avoid crowds at major sites, plus evening walks that use that late sunset to full advantage. The summer routes often break up city visits with countryside stops, letting you see Burgundy's vineyards and Normandy's coastal spots at their best.

- Fall / Autumn 2026
Fall tours really lean into culture and history with several multi-city options connecting London, Paris and beyond. It's perfect timing for wine enthusiasts, matching up with harvest season in Burgundy and the Loire Valley. Our clients consistently tell us how much they enjoy mixing city exploration with countryside visits - you get those autumn colors around Canterbury Cathedral and along the Seine Valley. These tours typically work in more indoor cultural spots than summer ones, with longer visits to the Louvre and British Museum, plus evening shows in both capitals.

What's the best way to get between London and Paris?
You can hop on the Eurostar train and be there in just over 2 hours and 15 minutes which is pretty amazing when you think about it. The train takes you right through the Channel Tunnel and drops you off in the city centers which travelers find way more convenient than dealing with airports. Our 7 Days in Paris and London tour uses this route and people love how quick and easy it is.
What local cultural experiences can I join in England and France?
In England afternoon tea is this wonderful tradition happening between 3 and 5 where you get to enjoy different teas lovely finger sandwiches and these amazing scones with clotted cream and jam plus some really nice pastries. Over in France you can dive into their food culture by taking a cooking class especially in Paris or Lyon where you'll learn to make classic French dishes with fresh local ingredients. Our Grand France with 3 nights in London WWII Remembrance & History Cruise takes you through both experiences.
What are some hidden gems for traveling around England and France?
The Cotswolds in England is this gorgeous area with rolling hills and these picture-perfect villages that feel worlds away from the busy cities you can explore by car or join small group tours for a more intimate experience. Our Britain Sampler with Paris to Normandy 2025 tour includes this gem. In France the Alsace region is just incredible with these charming villages featuring half-timbered houses amazing Riesling vineyards and this unique mix of French and German culture. People love these routes because they're beautiful authentic and let you take things slower.
What local foods should I try and where can I find them?
You've got to try a proper Sunday Roast in England with roasted meat Yorkshire pudding vegetables and gravy you'll find it in pubs and restaurants everywhere. In France there's this incredible dish called Coq au Vin which is chicken cooked in red wine with mushrooms bacon and onions available in traditional restaurants across the country. On our London to Barcelona tour everyone raves about the fish and chips they try in London.
How do I get around in England and France?
London's got the Tube which runs from early morning till late night and gets you pretty much anywhere you need to go in the city. In France the TGV high-speed trains connect all the major cities with frequent departures and really comfortable rides. If you're heading to places like the Loire Valley having a car gives you loads of freedom while coach tours are great because you get transport plus local knowledge from experienced drivers. Our European Affair and Chelsea Flower Show tour uses both the Tube and TGV which works really well.
