7 Days in Western Australia, incl. Perth and Kalbarri
Natural wonders await on this 7-day Western Australia tour visiting Perth's Kings Park, Kalbarri's dramatic gorges, and Geraldton's wildflower fields. Includes 6 nights' accommodation and guided visits to the Kalbarri Skywalk and The Pinnacles.

- Day 1
Perth
Get to Kings Park before 9 AM to avoid the crowds. This 400-hectare urban park gives you great city views and showcases over 3,000 native plant species. Visit between July and September to see peak wildflower season when the kangaroo paws bloom. Remember to bring water and sunscreen since Perth's UV can be strong even on overcast days.

- Day 2
Perth to Kalbarri (6-7 hours)
Leave early for your drive north to Kalbarri. The basic drive takes about 6 hours but plan for 7-8 to include rest stops and a visit to a local distillery. Pack some food since options are limited on this route. The road is good but it's a long stretch. You might want to stop in Geraldton to break up the journey.

- Day 3
Kalbarri National Park
Spend today exploring Kalbarri's gorges and wildflowers. Get to the Kalbarri Skywalk when it opens at 7 AM before it gets hot. The skywalk stretches 25 meters past the edge and sits 100 meters above the Murchison River. Wear good shoes with grip since morning dew makes walkways slippery. Take a tour with an Indigenous guide to learn about traditional bush foods and medicines.

- Day 4
Kalbarri to Geraldton
Travel south to Geraldton and stop at Hutt Lagoon's pink lake. Visit early or late in the day for the best colors. The lake looks different throughout the day depending on the weather and sunlight. Stop by the historic 1853 convict depot at Lynton Station. End your day watching sunset at the HMAS Sydney Memorial in Geraldton.

- Day 5
Geraldton Wildflower Tour
Focus on seeing the region's special wildflowers today. The Midwest has over 12,000 species you won't find anywhere else in the world. Start at the Helen Ansell Art Gallery in Mullewa before exploring Coalseam Conservation Park. A local guide notes: "Bring a macro lens if you're into photography - the tiny details in these native orchids are incredible. The everlastings create carpets of white and pink as far as you can see."

- Day 6
Geraldton to Perth via The Pinnacles
- Day 7
Perth
7 Day Western Australia Itinerary, incl. Perth and Margaret River
A 7-day route through Western Australia takes you to Nambung National Park, Rottnest Island, Margaret River, Wave Rock, and Fremantle. The trip combines 4WD adventures, wine tastings, and wildlife encounters, with 6 nights in 4-star accommodation and daily breakfast.

- Day 1
Perth Arrival and City Introduction
After arriving at Perth Airport and checking into your city center hotel take a late afternoon stroll through Elizabeth Quay. The water views are particularly beautiful when the sun sets. One traveler shared: "Perth's laid-back vibe and beautiful weather made for the perfect start to our Western Australia adventure."

- Day 2
Pinnacles Desert and Wildlife Encounters
Leave at 7:30 AM for Caversham Wildlife Park to see koalas and kangaroos at their most active. Travel north on Indian Ocean Drive to the Pinnacles Desert with a stop for sand boarding at Lancelin's dunes. Bring sunscreen and closed shoes since the sand gets very hot. Stop for fresh lobster lunch in Cervantes before exploring the limestone formations. It's a 12-hour day but you'll experience an incredible variety of sights.

- Day 3
Rottnest Island Exploration
Catch the morning ferry from Fremantle to Rottnest Island. Look for the island's famous quokkas in early morning or late afternoon. Take a full island bus tour to discover the best beaches and historic spots. One visitor noted: "The coastal views from the Wadjemup Lighthouse were incredible - bring a good camera." The last ferry leaves around 4:30 PM.

- Day 4
Margaret River Wine Region
Drive south to Margaret River (3 hours). Visit the established wineries along Caves Road in the morning before crowds arrive. Explore the limestone caves in the afternoon when they offer a cool escape. One traveler advised: "Book your wine tastings in advance, especially during peak season between December-February."

- Day 5
Wave Rock and Wheatbelt
Start early for the 350km drive to Wave Rock. Stop in historic York for morning tea and photos of heritage buildings. See Wave Rock in morning light for the best views. The drive is long but seeing the Australian outback and unique rock formations makes it worthwhile. Bring water and snacks as services are limited.

- Day 6
Perth and Fremantle Highlights
- Day 7
Final Morning and Departure
Spend your last morning shopping on William Street or having breakfast in Mount Lawley before heading to the airport. Most international flights leave in the afternoon so you'll have time for final purchases.
6 Days in Western Australia, incl. Perth and Exmouth
The natural wonders of Western Australia shine over six days: Nambung's Pinnacles, Kalbarri's gorges, Shark Bay's marine life, and Ningaloo Reef. Includes five nights' accommodation, Nature's Window sunrise, and Monkey Mia's dolphin encounters.

- Day 1
Perth to Kalbarri (575 km)
Leave Perth early in the morning. Your first stop is the Pinnacles Desert in Nambung National Park with its striking limestone formations. Aim to arrive before 10 AM to beat the heat. Stop for lunch in Jurien Bay before continuing past Geraldton's Pink Lake. Plan to photograph the lake in morning light for the best views. You'll reach Kalbarri by sunset.

- Day 2
Kalbarri National Park to Monkey Mia (450 km)
Start at Nature's Window for sunrise photos. The morning light is perfect and you'll enjoy cooler temperatures for the 3km hike. Next up is Z-Bend Gorge. Wear good walking shoes and pack plenty of water for the rocky terrain. Spring visitors will see beautiful wildflowers everywhere. End your day at Monkey Mia with beachfront lodging.

- Day 3
Monkey Mia to Coral Bay (580 km)
Watch for dolphins at Monkey Mia between 7:30-8:00 AM. One visitor said: "The dolphin experience was humbling - arrive early for the best viewing spots." Visit Shell Beach, a unique coastline made of tiny white shells. The drive to Coral Bay has good roads but watch for kangaroos as evening approaches.

- Day 4

- Day 5

- Day 6

What people love about 7-day Western Australia tours
- 【Perth】7 Days All-Inclusive Touring Grand Packages
We enjoyed our every bit of tour, and we felt like we were well taken care of during our journey. It was amazing! We would highly recommend Delightful Travel to anyone who is thinking to do Perth trip.
- 6 Day Perth to Exmouth Coral Coaster One Way Adventure
Great experience and Carla was exceptional.
- 7 Day Perth to Exmouth Explorer & Ningaloo Reef Return - from Perth
The tour is what I expected for a basic backpackers trip. Many kilometres travelled in a short space of time gave a good snapshot of the coast between Perth and Exmouth. Lovely to travel with young people from different parts of the world. Steve is obviously a lifer in the tourist industry, though a little 'tired'. It was disappointing that there was no commentary during the long hours travelling and strange that an iPod worked and not a microphone. Youth hostels were adequate with the exception of two nights in Exmouth where 10 of us had to share one bathroom with no other toilet facilities available in the complex. Really need to return and take my time and explore the coast more thoroughly. Would travel with Autopia Tours again.
