- Day 1
Delhi
Start in vibrant Delhi. Take a rickshaw through Old Delhi's winding lanes to Jama Masjid mosque. Visit before 11 AM to beat the heat and crowds. Women need headscarves and everyone must take off their shoes. Later, visit India Gate in the afternoon when it's cooler and the light is perfect for photos.

Agra
Take an early train to Agra (2.5 hours). Visit Agra Fort in the late afternoon when it's cooler and you can catch the sunset over the Taj Mahal. A recent visitor shared: "The Red Fort was incredible with its hidden corridors and stunning views. Go up to the top level for the best Taj photo ops!"

Agra to Ranthambhore
See the Taj Mahal at sunrise. Get there by 6 AM when the gates open. Morning mist often creates beautiful photo opportunities. Stop at Fatehpur Sikri on your way to Ranthambhore. Bring water and sunscreen since there isn't much shade.

Ranthambhore National Park
Spend two days on morning and afternoon game drives looking for Bengal tigers. Book the 6 AM drives for the best wildlife viewing. Pack warm clothes for chilly mornings. You might also spot leopards, sloth bears and hundreds of bird species.

Jaipur
Explore Jaipur, the Pink City. Start with Amber Fort in the early morning. The Mirror Palace is a must-see. One family said: "The kids were mesmerized by all the tiny mirrors covering every surface - it was like being inside a kaleidoscope!" Visit the City Palace later when you can find shade in the courtyards.

Alsisar
Drive to Alsisar village (4-5 hours). Stay in a converted 17th-century palace with a swimming pool. Walk through the village in the evening to see painted havelis and meet local residents. The quiet atmosphere is a nice break from the cities.

Delhi
Back to Delhi for final sightseeing. Visit Chandni Chowk market in the morning but wait until 10:30 AM when shops open. Finish your trip with dinner at Karim's in Old Delhi for authentic Mughlai food.

Taj Mahal & Drive to Karauli
Visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise before 7 AM when crowds are minimal. Take 2-3 hours to explore before driving to Karauli (4-5 hours). Stay in a historic palace hotel. "Meeting the princess and hearing her stories about the property was an unexpected highlight of our trip."

Jaipur
The 4-hour drive brings you to Jaipur where you'll spend two days. Visit City Palace and Jantar Mantar on your first afternoon. Start day 2 with an early jeep ride to Amber Fort by 8 AM. Spend your afternoon shopping for textiles and watching cotton block printing demonstrations.

Udaipur
Take the morning train from Jaipur to Udaipur. The 7-hour journey offers beautiful views of Rajasthan. Spend two days in India's most romantic city exploring City Palace taking a sunset boat ride on Lake Pichola and walking through the old city. A lakeside hotel is worth the extra cost.

Fly Udaipur to Delhi
Catch a morning flight back to Delhi (1.5 hours). Use your afternoon for shopping at Dilli Haat craft market or Connaught Place.
