  Cusco & Sacred Valley
  Your body will need time to adjust to Cusco's high elevation of 11,152 feet. Schedule your Lima-Cusco flight after 10 AM to avoid morning fog delays. Most visitors experience mild altitude effects. Stick to coca tea and skip alcohol on your first day. We recently traveled to Peru with Waman Adventures and had an amazing experience overall. The trip was extremely well organized from start to finish, and all of the transportation, accommodations, and activities were coordinated seamlessly. We felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire journey. The itinerary was packed with incredible experiences and we were able to see so much in a relatively short amount of time. If we could change one thing, we would have loved an extra day of free time in Cusco to explore the city at our own pace, as there was so much to see and do there. A special thank you goes to our guide, Wilber, who accompanied us to Machu Picchu. He was by far the best guide we had during the trip. His knowledge of Inca history and culture was exceptional, and the way he explained everything brought the site to life. Listening to his stories and detailed explanations truly felt like stepping back in time into the world of the Incas. He made our visit to Machu Picchu unforgettable.
