  Begin your journey in Peru's capital. The city stays misty until about 10 AM, so plan accordingly. Stay in Miraflores or Barranco for convenient access to attractions. Visit Huaca Pucllana pyramid in the early morning before the tour buses arrive at 11 AM. Plan your Plaza Mayor visit for late afternoon when temperatures cool down.
- Days 3-6
  Cusco & Sacred Valley
  Your body will need time to adjust to Cusco's high elevation of 11,152 feet. Schedule your Lima-Cusco flight after 10 AM to avoid morning fog delays. Most visitors experience mild altitude effects. Stick to coca tea and skip alcohol on your first day. A recent visitor shared: "The San Pedro Market was fantastic for trying local foods, but go with small bills - vendors rarely have change for large notes." The Machu Picchu trip starts early at 4:30 AM. Take the Vistadome train from Poroy station, located 40 minutes from Cusco. Overall we had a great experience specially the guides during the whole trip they were all professional and helpful, transport was great almost on time for all the trip. Our concern was the hotels, specially the Cusco part, the first hotel wasn’t good far from the city centre where all the main attractions no noise isolation but they were attentive and change it( we wished that they did pick it from the beginning to avoid the hassle) the hotel in Agua Caliente was a disaster small humid smelly room we couldn’t sleep. Big thank you to Luz she was in constant contact with us on WhatsApp and attentive to all our concerns and taking prompt action every time. Thank you all for the unforgettable experience.

We recently traveled to Peru with Waman Adventures and had an amazing experience overall. The trip was extremely well organized from start to finish, and all of the transportation, accommodations, and activities were coordinated seamlessly. We felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire journey. The itinerary was packed with incredible experiences and we were able to see so much in a relatively short amount of time. If we could change one thing, we would have loved an extra day of free time in Cusco to explore the city at our own pace, as there was so much to see and do there. A special thank you goes to our guide, Wilber, who accompanied us to Machu Picchu. He was by far the best guide we had during the trip. His knowledge of Inca history and culture was exceptional, and the way he explained everything brought the site to life. Listening to his stories and detailed explanations truly felt like stepping back in time into the world of the Incas. He made our visit to Machu Picchu unforgettable. We would highly recommend Waman Adventures to anyone looking to explore Peru in a comfortable, well-organized, and memorable way.

Excellent trip. Great guides, ok accommodations. I wish we would have been told about the change to the Rainbow Mountain hike earlier. If we had known that it had changed from 14 kilometers to a much shorter hike we would have done the 1 day Inca trail hike as well.
