A very hectic 6 days but saw some amazing sights and overall had a great time. Our driver was a young man who was very pleasant and friendly but couldn't speak a lot of English, we got by though and had a few laughs along the way. Our first hotel on our first and last night was lovely and the staff and food was great, the other hotels not so good but was only 3 star. Our house boat was a let down and we did not enjoy so much as it was a floating hotel. The itinerary for the boat was nothing like what it said. Our best day was the last day when we had an English speaking guide who took us and showed us round the Chinese fishing quarter, the Jewish quarter, the palace museum and a very old Catholic Church. A full day but worth it.

Our driver was wonderful - very personable and helpful, as well as being a really good and safe driver who did NOT use his phone while driving (very unusual these days). The hotels were all lovely and we really enjoyed the houseboat.
