Our winter trips in the Algonquin region let you try all sorts of snow activities while staying in cozy lodges. The log cabin experience works really well - you'll head out for backcountry skiing across frozen lakes and through snow-laden hemlock forests, then come back to warm up by a proper stone fireplace. What makes it special is how you can mix it up: maybe snowshoe to forest viewpoints one day and join in some torch-lit broomball on the frozen lake the next.
