Andalucia Tours & Trips
Watch flamenco dancers as they perform in Seville's tablaos, or wander through the magnificent Alhambra in Granada. Andalusia brings everything from Cordoba's Mezquita to Ronda's dramatic gorge, Costa del Sol's beaches to Toledo's medieval charm. Taste tapas in old plazas and find Moorish palaces to explore. Southern Spain's passion is infectious.

The reason I didn’t give this trip 5 stars is that we didn’t actually visit Elhambra palace, just the gardens and other buildings. Also, the bus was very old and full of noises and we couldn’t see anything from the window and the airconditioning would loose effect when it gets hot. Also, when we tried arranging a flamenco night with the guide, he failed to get us taxies and we kept standing in the street. Finally, I had specifically informed you that I didn’t eat pork. However, in Granada I was treated rudely by the waiter and was provided with plain pasta that I left untouched.
Andalucia & Toledo, 5 days on TuesdaysGreat tour and flexible
A Taste of Spain: : 11 Days Across Madrid, Seville, Granada & BarcelonaThe itinerary was excellent and the hotels were all well chosen - perfectly sited and to the standard we expected. There were no issues with the cars and they were as ordered and ready for us on arrival and the pickup was smooth. The only reason that they didn't get 5 stars was for the organisation - They would have got 4.5 if half stars were permitted. Our party was complex - 6 adults as 2 couples and 2 singles in 4 rooms and requiring two cars. We modified the tour starting at a different point and staying at only 4 locations for a total of 7 nights, rather than 7 one night stays. In all our correspondence they were polite, helpful and friendly and responded within 24 hours. They made all the changes that we requested using the messaging service. The issue was that when the documents first came through they didn't reflect all the changes we had made in our discussions. After a couple of iterations these were then correct. When we checked in to the first and second hotels they had paired us all up incorrectly so all the assigned rooms had to be changed. This took considerable time and was frustrating for the hotel staff as well as us. This was one of the corrections that was made at least 2-3 weeks before departure and it appeared that hotels had not received the correct information. We messaged the operator through the app to check with the remaining two hotels and they confirmed they had done this and these check-ins were much smoother. Overall it was a superb holiday, reasonably priced and I would use tourradar again and have recommended them to family friends.

Best time to visit Andalucia
- Fall / Autumn 2026
Autumn emerges as a perfect time to explore Andalucia with tours that blend cultural experiences and comfortable weather conditions. Several circuits begin in Madrid, moving through Toledo's medieval lanes, before reaching the magnificent Mezquita in Cordoba. TourRadar customers often mention how autumn tours schedule Alhambra visits in morning light, which brings out the fine Islamic architectural details. Most visitors choose 8-day routes focused on Andalucia's core regions, with extended time in Seville's Santa Cruz quarter and Granada's atmospheric Albaicin district, where mild temperatures make street exploration more pleasant. Some travelers opt for 9-day itineraries including stops in smaller towns like Ronda, where evening tapas crawls and quieter streets offer authentic local experiences. The guides leading these autumn tours earn consistent praise for adjusting the pace to match the season's gentle weather, which suits outdoor visits to Granada's Generalife Gardens, Cordoba's Jewish Quarter and also the historic city centers.

- Winter 2026 / 2027
Winter travel in Andalucia offers a quieter cultural experience, with well-crafted tours making excellent use of the mild temperatures. Customers tell us they particularly enjoy our Madrid-to-Barcelona routes in this season, as they blend indoor cultural visits with comfortable outdoor walks. The mosque-cathedral in Cordoba takes on a special character in winter's light, and Granada's Alhambra becomes more intimate with fewer visitors and clear morning conditions perfect for photos. Adding Toledo to the itinerary brings rich medieval heritage into focus, where our local guides share stories of the city's Jewish, Christian and Muslim past. Evening transfers to Plaza Mayor give travelers time to discover authentic tapas venues away from tourist crowds, while quick high-speed trains keep travel efficient between destinations. For a cozy evening option, the flamenco shows in Granada's Sacromonte caves come with local wine service and provide shelter from cool winter air. The tours take smart advantage of Andalucia's gentle winter climate, balancing cathedral visits with outdoor walks so weather never becomes an issue.

- Spring 2027
Spring emerges as an ideal time for exploring Andalucia, when temperatures are mild and orange blossoms scent the air. Our most sought-after tours combine Madrid's urban energy with Andalucia's cultural depths. A particularly good 8-day option lets you discover Toledo's medieval lanes before heading south to Cordoba's Mezquita. Our customers love how these tours time the Alhambra visits for morning light - perfect for photos of the intricate Islamic details. Another popular choice focuses purely on Andalucia's heartland, spending extra time in Seville's Santa Cruz quarter and Granada's Albaicin district. For those seeking deeper cultural immersion, a 9-day route includes stays in smaller towns like Ronda, where our travelers praise the authentic evening tapas crawls and relatively quiet streets. The guides on these spring tours receive consistent praise for adapting the pace to perfect weather conditions for outdoor exploration.

Summer tours require thoughtful planning, and our most successful itineraries factor in the heat with early morning activities and relaxed afternoons. A well-designed 7-day circuit starts activities at first light, when our travelers can explore Cordoba's Jewish Quarter and Granada's Alhambra before the day heats up. Several tours include welcome afternoon stops at traditional tea houses in Granada's Albaicin - our customers particularly appreciate these cooling breaks between sites. For those wanting to escape peak temperatures, tours combining cultural visits with Costa del Sol stays prove popular. These typically include morning city explorations followed by optional beach time. Another smart choice follows a route through the Sierra Nevada's higher elevations, where temperatures stay more moderate. Our guides know exactly when to time outdoor activities and when to duck into cool cathedral interiors and shaded courtyards.
