What people love about Andalucia Tours for Seniors
- Best of Southern Spain
This tour was everything it was advertised to be. Good balance of tours and free time. Loved the small group. Lalo was a FANTASTIC guide. He was professional and knowledgable and at times had to be a mother, babysitter, principal and most importantly, tour guide. He plaed all these roles well - much better than I could have, that's for sure.
- The Best of Spain
The local guides were good, tour director Abbadi & driver Josea were superb. However the hotel rooms, breakfast and hotel meals were below average. Only nice food was in Madrid Novotel.
- 9-Day tour From Madrid to Barcelona through Andalusia and the Mediterranean Coast
We have enjoyed our trip through Andalucía. The guide, Alejandro, and our driver, Marian were outstanding! I do have to say that this tour offers an overview of each city, you have to do your homework and book extra tours of tickets for places not included. We stayed in Barcelona 4 more days and we were able to see and enjoy the Monserrat Monastery, Girona, Figueres, the Miro Museum, the Parc Guell, the Sagrada Familia, la Pedrera and more. Finally, most of the hotels (4 stars)

Tours are structured to suit seniors with average mobility with most rated as "Easy" to "Moderate." A typical day includes 2-3 hours of relaxed walking on flat ground with regular rest stops. As noted by a TourRadar traveler: "The pace was comfortable with good balance between activities and rest time."
What medical facilities are available in Andalucia's main tourist areas?
The region's main cities offer modern healthcare facilities with English-speaking medical staff. Tour directors can quickly connect guests with medical care and most hotels work closely with nearby facilities. A TourRadar traveler noted: "When my husband needed a doctor in Seville our guide quickly arranged a visit to a nearby clinic."
What types of accommodation can seniors expect on Andalucian tours?
Tours generally book 3-4 star hotels in easy-to-reach central locations. Popular choices include the Barcelo Sevilla Renacimiento in Seville and Melia Granada in Granada. Most properties provide elevators and luggage assistance though some historic buildings may have stairs. One TourRadar reviewer noted: "The hotels were well-located and comfortable with the NH Amistad Cordoba being particularly good for its central location and modern amenities."

Groups move between sites in air-conditioned coaches combined with train travel and short walks. Many tours offer private transfers to major attractions such as Cordoba's Mezquita or Granada's Alhambra. As one TourRadar traveler noted: "The transportation was excellent with comfortable coaches and trained drivers who helped with luggage and boarding making it very manageable for seniors."
