What people love about Canada Tours for Couples
- 6-Day Canadian Rockies Adventure Tour: Banff, Yoho, Kootenay & Lake Louise Highlights
Very good trip! The itinerary was well planned with well timed stops and appropriate durations. Everything from buses to hotels was well organized. They had arranged group check-in at hotels and the guide made sure everyone received their room key and instructions. All provided meals were very good and served quickly. One minor complaint, it was a little difficult to understand the guides while on the bus. About 85 or 90% of the tour customers were Chinese therefore the guides were Chinese and that makes perfect sense. The guides were friendly and always polite, and they spoke very good english. Unfortunately, at times there were hard to understand when speaking over the bus loudspeaker. We were very pleased with our trip experience, and recommend you consider Calgary Tours.
- Rockies Premium Tour from Vancouver
The tour itself was enjoyable, but there were a few issues with the details provided. The tour was advertised as “Rockies Premium Tour from Vancouver (34 Seats)”, yet our bus only had 21 seats. This created an inconvenience for the odd passenger who had to sit in the back middle seat without a window view. Additionally, the itinerary mentioned accommodations on Banff Avenue, but in reality, we were placed further away, which was a bit disappointing.
- Rockies Summer Classic Tour
My son and I had a very enjoyable trip. We were lucky to have three guides—Chris, our main guide, was vibrant, knowledgeable, welcoming, and very accommodating. He was training Tabitha and Victoria, who I’m sure will become wonderful guides as well. The sights we visited were stunning, and the accommodation was great. I would have liked a little more time in Jasper, but otherwise, the schedule was well-paced and thoughtfully planned. Overall, it was excellent value for money, and I’ll definitely be looking into other tours for future trips to Canada. Tour radar was also very good.
What our customers ask about Romantic Canada Trips & Honeymoon Packages
What are the most romantic destinations included in Canadian tours for couples?
You'll find amazing spots for couples throughout Canada, especially in the Rocky Mountains. Lake Louise is a real showstopper with its bright blue waters and mountain backdrop, and the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel in Banff National Park feels like staying in a castle. If you head east, Quebec City's Old Town feels just like Europe with its winding cobblestone streets. Over in Victoria, you can take hand-in-hand walks through the beautiful Butchart Gardens. One TourRadar traveler shared: "The Fairmont hotels were excellent and provided the perfect romantic atmosphere for our anniversary trip through the Rockies."
Where can couples find the best romantic dining in Canada?
Vancouver has some really special restaurants right on the water, and in Banff you can eat at Sky Bistro on top of Sulphur Mountain with incredible views below. The Empress Hotel in Victoria is famous for its fancy afternoon tea - it's a fun thing to do together. At Lake Louise, you can have dinner looking right at the glacier. One TourRadar traveler put it well: "The food was excellent and the locations for meals were always scenic and special."
When's the best time for couples to visit Canada?
If you want perfect weather and fewer tourists, plan your trip for September or October. The fall colors in Quebec and Ontario are beautiful then, and temperatures are comfortable at 50-65°F (10-18°C). For the Rocky Mountains, July and August are ideal for outdoor activities with temps around 65-75°F (18-24°C). Winter can be really cozy and romantic if you like skiing and mountain lodges, but it gets cold - down to about 5°F (-15°C).
What kind of dining experiences can couples have in Canada?
You'll find so many options across Canada. Quebec City has intimate French restaurants, Vancouver has great spots right on the water, and Halifax serves amazing fresh seafood in its historic district. You can go wine tasting in the Okanagan Valley or have dinner with a view at Toronto's CN Tower restaurant that slowly spins 360 degrees. One TourRadar traveler remembered: "the intimate dining experience at the Post Hotel in Lake Louise was a highlight of our romantic getaway."
What type of hotels can couples expect on Canadian tours?
Most tours include stays at really nice hotels that are perfect for couples. The Fairmont hotels are especially memorable - like the Chateau Lake Louise and Banff Springs Hotel. In Quebec City, you might stay at the Hotel Le Concorde with great city views, or in Toronto at the Westin Harbour Castle right on the water. As one TourRadar traveler said: "The Fairmont Banff Springs was like staying in a castle - absolutely perfect for our romantic getaway with incredible mountain views from our room."
What romantic activities are included in Canadian tours?
You'll get to do lots of special things together. Watch the sunset at Lake Louise, take an evening boat ride in Vancouver's harbor, explore the peaceful Butchart Gardens in Victoria, or have a fancy dinner at the famous Fairmont Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City. Many couples love taking the Rocky Mountaineer train through the mountains. One couple on TourRadar said "the panoramic views and luxury service made for an unforgettable experience together."
Which places in Canada are best for a romantic trip?
Banff National Park is really special with its blue lakes and mountain scenery. Quebec City feels like a slice of Europe with its old streets and French atmosphere. Victoria is lovely with its gardens and pretty harbor, and Niagara Falls is impressive any time of year. Most couples love staying at fancy hotels like the Fairmont Banff Springs or the Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City. One TourRadar traveler said it best: "Quebec City felt like being in Europe - perfect for romantic evening strolls and intimate dinners."
