South Africa Tours for Solo Travelers
Our 5-day Garden Route tours work really well for solo travelers, with a nice mix of backpacker spots and guesthouses where people quickly make friends. You can do your own thing - maybe bungy jumping at Bloukrans Bridge or joining others for wine tasting along Route 62. Nothing brings the group together quite like spotting wildlife in Addo, and those evening braais under the stars tend to turn strangers into friends. The guides make sure everyone feels included, often setting up group dinners in places like Jeffrey's Bay and also Wilderness.

What people love about touring South Africa solo
- 7 day Garden Route, Cape Point and Winelands Combo
This was by far the most amazing tour I have ever done! Gehrald, JP, and TK were so friendly, organized, and accommodating. This was an action packed itinerary and the guides made it an overly amazing experience! 5 stars, 10 if I could!
- 3 day Garden Route + Safari Highlights Tour from Cape Town
Enjoyed the trip and many thanks to the excellent guide Uriel.
- Winelands & Garden Route for Wine Lovers - Chauffeur Drive Tour 5 Days
Paul and Mark did a great job in covering a huge amount of ground across 5 days. From initial pick up, through Stellenbosch and Franshoek, and on to Knysner, there is a lot to see and the tour only scratches the surface of the Winelands and Garden Route, and you could do it many times and see different things each time. Paul ensured we got to see what we were interested in, even dropping in a late evening hippo watch ! The days can be long due to the distance but the hotels and guesthouses were clean and comfortable - food was good, and always ask for recommendations as Paul knows the area well !
