El Mesopotamia Tour was an unforgettable experience. Our guide, Deniz, was one of the best we have ever had/knowledgeable caring and considerate. Our driver, Mehmet, was equally excellent, kind and professional. Emoji put together a fantastic itinerary, showcasing the amazing ancient history, culture and sites of South Eastern Turkey, a region we knew so little about. The hotels were good and the Tour was well organised. The people were warm and welcoming. It was sad to see how the war and the resulting cancellations by tourists were affecting local hotels, restaurants and business businesses. At no time did we feel frightened or concerned about our safety? We highly recommend this Tour to anyone wanting to discover this remarkable and often overlooked part of Turkey. It was truly an amazing experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and finished feeling very happy that we had added it to our itinerary. Faruk was very experienced, professional snd essy company; our driver very competent and helpful and the car more luxurious than we had expected (although usb charging points would have been greatly apprecated). We enjoyed all the sights we visited with the addition of the mosaic museum (Zeugma) an amazing additional highlight. The food stops were very local and tasty. Our accommodation was comfortable; there had been a smoker in our first room (White Hotel), which was not the best for my wife's asthma, but that was a hotel issue. Mt Nemrut was fantastic as was the temple archaeological site. The changed schedule of Mt Nemrut on day 1 worked well because it enabled a more leisurely pace on day 2, but we would recommend leaving Cappadocia an hour earlier i.e. 7.00 - 7.30 to make this less rushed. The weather was very cold and windy, but we would have liked a bit longer there. Notwithstanding we were very grateful that Faruk brought us down before it got dark as a safety precaution. A second recommendation would be for some general advice on the amount of cash to carry, as we spent most of what we had. We would thoroughly recommend this tour.

Our guide Tashin was excellent. Most of the sites we visited were very interesting. I felt we could of skipped Laodecia Ancient City after visiting Ephesus and other sites. 16 in our group had a nice size bus so lots of room and the hotels we stayed at were nice and comfortable.
