What people love about 2-week Japan tours
- Japan Classic 14 Day - One Life Adventures
I had an amazing time on the One Life classic 14 day tour of Japan. The itinerary of the tour is excellent, you get to visit so many awesome places over the 2 weeks. It is a really great way to experience so much of Japan in a short space of time. The tour is really well organised, from the accommodation to the travelling. There is a really great selection of accommodation, from authentic temple stays, to Ryokan pod style hotels, to more traditional hotels. I particularly enjoyed sleeping on the tatami mats which are actually very comfortable! Our tour guide Pin was absolutely fantastic. He did a great job of leading our big group of 19, making sure everyone knew what the itinerary of the day was and that everyone got to where they needed to be on time. Pin has a wealth of knowledge about Japan, it's culture and history which he was always eager to share and very happy to answer all the questions we had for him. Pin was a really fun tour guide to have, he is extremely friendly and approachable, always chatting with people during the day and when we were travelling around. Pin also came to dinner and on night outs with us, showing us all the best spots and making sure everyone was having a good time. I couldn't have asked for a better guide than Pin! Overall I think this was a really great tour that represents good value for money considering how many places you get to visit and all the included activities and excursions. It is definitely quite a physically active tour, we were racking up 20,000-30,000 steps a day and my legs were definitely feeling it towards the end, just something to be mindful of. I think the number of nights spent in each location is probably about right. Personally I felt that some days there was probably too much time spent travelling compared to the actual amount of time we got to spend in the location, for example we spent most of the day travelling to Hakone and only got to spend the evening and night there before leaving again early the next morning. I also would have loved to have spent another night in Takayama as it was a really cool place but it felt a bit rushed to see all of it. Equally now that I've been there I know it's somewhere I definitely would like to go back to and stay for longer next time I visit Japan. Lastly I would highly recommend going to Japan in November, the autumn scenery was truly stunning!
- 14 Days Japan Panoramic(Private 3 Star Hotels)
It was a 13-night tour, but we honestly wished it never had to end. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, with every day filled with well-chosen sights and memorable activities. My husband and I truly had a wonderful time from start to finish.
- Discover Japan
The trip was well organised and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We covered many big cities and did a lot of activities and visited many places. It was very informative and we were lucky to have few hours of clear sky in our visit to the mountain Fuji and managed to have clear views of the mountain and a lot of good photos. The extra bonus for us is our day visit to the Expo 2025 in Osaka. Our Guide Tetsuo was excellent and he was very helpful and made the trip very smooth and went over and above his duty helping out the members of our group who may need any help and was there when needed. The route of this trip was very good and well planned. Strongly recommend it.
