Our Discover Medieval Transylvania Small Group Tour was absolutely amazing. Over seven unforgettable days, we traveled through some of Romania’s most beautiful and historic places, experiencing medieval castles, fortified villages, ancient churches, charming towns, and the breathtaking landscapes of Transylvania. What made the journey especially memorable was our incredible guide, Charlie. His knowledge, passion, and genuine love for Romania brought every place we visited to life. He didn’t just show us the sights—he shared the stories, history, legends, and personal touches that made each stop feel meaningful. Charlie went above and beyond throughout the entire trip, making sure we were comfortable, enjoying ourselves, and experiencing as much as possible. From the beauty of Sibiu and Sighișoara to the impressive Corvin Castle, Biertan, Bunești, Brașov, Bran Castle, and the spectacular Carpathian countryside, every day brought something new and unforgettable. This wasn’t simply a tour—it was an incredible journey through history, culture, and some truly remarkable scenery. Best of Romania in 10 daysWe really enjoyed this tour. Our tour guide Dany, was the best. Very knowledgeable, and he showed us somethings off the beaten track. He was very familiar with the areas that we visited, and answered all of our questions. Also, he was very helpful to those that needed some help getting around. The attractions were as described, and the hotels we stayed in during the trip, were wonderful (with the exception of the Continental because of the glassed walled bathrooms in the guest rooms). We would recommend this trip to anyone!
