Overall It was good. The guide/driver Tahal did everything to his power to make our trip satisfactory. I would recomend him to others. You could do an upgrade in the hotels, specially in Marrakech, Yaad. People not nice at all. The tent in Merzouga was great. Nice trip

Our Moroccan tour from 23 May to 2 June 2026 was a truly memorable and enriching experience. Travelling as a group of friends, we explored many of Morocco’s most iconic destinations, experiencing its diverse landscapes, culture, history, and traditions. The itinerary was thoughtfully designed and covered the country’s essential highlights, from the vibrant medinas of Marrakech and Fez to the stunning Dades Valley, the unforgettable Sahara Desert experience in Merzouga, and the coastal charm of Tangier, Casablanca, and Essaouira. The journey felt like a genuine adventure from start to finish, allowing us to fully appreciate Morocco’s beauty, warmth, and character. We also appreciated the scenic stopovers along the way, which offered spectacular views of mountains, oases, and historic kasbahs. While the itinerary itself was excellent, there was some initial uncertainty regarding the daily plans and what to expect at each destination. A more detailed briefing for the driver/guide, including key historical and cultural information, would have enhanced our understanding and appreciation of the places we visited. There were also a few aspects of the tour that did not fully align with what had been advertised or included in the package. In particular, sandboarding on the desert dunes, which was listed as an included activity, was not offered during our stay in Merzouga. In addition, the complimentary eSIM promoted on the TourRadar website was not available through the TourRadar app as expected. We also noted that several locations mentioned in the published itinerary were not visited during the tour. While we appreciate that itineraries may occasionally need to be adjusted due to operational reasons, travellers would reasonably expect destinations specifically listed in the itinerary to be included or, at the very least, be informed in advance of any changes. Greater consistency between the published itinerary and the actual experience would help manage expectations and further enhance customer satisfaction. The transport arrangements were excellent throughout. Having a dedicated vehicle for our group made the journey comfortable, flexible, and relaxed. The vehicle was modern, spacious, and well suited to the longer travel days, allowing us to explore at our own pace without feeling rushed. The accommodation was varied and generally excellent. The riads in Marrakech and Fez were particularly memorable, offering an authentic and immersive experience in the heart of the medinas. Our stay in the Dades Valley was another highlight, thanks to its spectacular mountain setting, while the luxury desert camp in Merzouga provided unforgettable moments, including a sunset camel ride, a magical evening under the stars, and a breathtaking Sahara sunrise. The hotels in Tangier and Casablanca offered a comfortable and modern contrast. The only slight disappointment was the final riad in Essaouira, which felt below the standard of the previous accommodations, although the lovely rooftop breakfast helped end the trip on a positive note. Our driver and guide, Ayoub, was one of the highlights of the entire journey. He was cheerful, friendly, and professional throughout, making even the longest drives enjoyable. While we would not describe him as the most experienced guide or the most fluent English speaker, he consistently made a genuine effort to communicate, share information, and ensure we had a positive experience. We also adapted by rephrasing and simplifying our questions when necessary, and together we were able to communicate effectively. His willingness to engage, learn, and help was always appreciated and contributed greatly to the friendly atmosphere throughout the trip. Ayoub also provided valuable insights into Moroccan culture, traditions, and everyday life, which enriched our experience. We particularly enjoyed the personal conversations and stories we shared along the way. Ayoub was a highly skilled and experienced driver, and we felt safe throughout the journey. However, on some of the long, open stretches of road, there were occasions when the driving speed felt excessively fast and appeared to exceed the permitted speed limits by a significant margin. We gently reminded him on a few occasions to reduce his speed and remain within the national speed limits, which he respected. While this was a concern for us at times, it did not detract from our overall confidence in his driving ability, professionalism, and commitment to ensuring we reached each destination safely. Overall, this was an exceptional tour that provided a wonderful introduction to Morocco. Ayoub’s warmth, professionalism, and good humour played a major role in making the experience so special, and we are grateful for the many lasting memories created throughout this unforgettable journey.
