7 Days in Bay of Fundy, incl. Halifax and Saint John
Eastern Canada's maritime heritage shines through Halifax Citadel, UNESCO-listed Joggins Fossil Cliffs, and Saint John's Reversing Falls. Five cities are featured with 11 included meals, highlighting Shediac Bay lobster dinner and Annapolis Valley wine tasting.

- Day 1
Halifax, Nova Scotia
Begin your journey in downtown Halifax. Stay at Cambridge Suites Hotel, which puts you within walking distance of the waterfront. If you arrive in the late afternoon, visit the Halifax Seaport Farmers' Market before it closes at 5 PM. It's the oldest continuously running farmers' market in North America.

- Day 2
Halifax to Moncton
Leave early for Joggins Fossil Cliffs, a UNESCO site. Set aside 2-3 hours for the cliff walk and wear sturdy shoes because the beach gets slippery. In the afternoon, take a lobster dinner cruise in Shediac Bay. "The historical stops were just as interesting as seeing the tidal bore." End your day in Moncton.

- Day 3
Hopewell Rocks & Saint John
Start at Hopewell Rocks to see the flowerpot rocks at low tide. Come back 6 hours later to kayak around them at high tide. The water level changes by 50 feet! Drive through Fundy National Park to Saint John in the afternoon. Stop at Reversing Falls during tide change. Check local tide tables for timing.

- Day 4
St. Andrews by-the-Sea
- Day 5
Saint John to Digby
- Day 6
Annapolis Valley to Halifax
Visit Grand Pré National Historic Site, a UNESCO Heritage site that tells the Acadian deportation story. Sample wines in the Annapolis Valley during the afternoon. The area's unique soil creates distinctive white wines. Drive back to Halifax on Highway 101 (about 2.5 hours).
- Day 7
Departure from Halifax
Leave in the morning. If your flight is in the afternoon, visit the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site, which opens at 9 AM. "Even though some hotels were a bit out of town centers, the tour covered all the highlights in the area."
Newfoundland Viking Trail From Corner Brook (Small Group) - 7 days
A maritime adventure through Eastern Canada covers six destinations from Corner Brook to Deer Lake. UNESCO sites Gros Morne National Park and L'Anse aux Meadows are featured, alongside St. Anthony whale-watching and a scenic Bonne Bay cruise.

7 Days in Bay of Fundy, incl. Halifax and Saint John
Maritime wonders await across five cities in seven days. UNESCO sites at Joggins Fossil Cliffs and Grand Pre complement whale watching in St. Andrews and the world's highest tides at Hopewell Rocks.

- Day 1
Halifax
- Day 2
Halifax to Moncton
Visit the Joggins Fossil Cliffs UNESCO site before 10 AM for the first guided tour when visibility is best for fossil hunting. The 3-hour drive to Moncton follows the Bay of Fundy coast. Bring water and snacks since you'll find limited services in this rural area. Take an evening lobster dinner cruise in Shediac Bay to see local fishing techniques in action. Bring warm clothes since the bay gets cool at night, even in summer.

- Day 3
Moncton to Saint John
Visit Hopewell Rocks at low tide to walk on the ocean floor near the unique "flowerpot" formations. Come back 6 hours later to kayak around these same rocks at high tide for a completely different view. The 2-hour drive to Saint John goes through Fundy National Park. Stop for photos at Long Beach and Point Wolfe.

- Day 4
Saint Andrews Day Trip
Take a 1-hour drive to St. Andrews-by-the-Sea. Book a mid-morning whale watching tour when the water is calmest. The 3-4 hour trip often spots minke whales, harbor porpoises and sometimes rare right whales. Later, walk through Water Street's historic buildings and try the local seafood. Plan about 2 hours to see all 27 acres of Kingsbrae Garden.

- Day 5
Saint John to Digby
Take the morning ferry to Digby (2.5 hours). Book ahead since it fills up during peak season. Watch for marine life during the crossing. Visit the Digby wharf around 4 PM to see fishing boats return with fresh scallops. Consider dinner at the historic Digby Pines resort with its views of Annapolis Basin.

- Day 6
Digby to Halifax
Drive through Nova Scotia's wine country in the Annapolis Valley. Stop at Grand-Pré UNESCO site to explore Acadian history. Summer guided tours offer detailed insights into the culture. Visit Luckett Vineyards before 2 PM to avoid tour groups and enjoy bay views with your wine tasting. The drive to Halifax takes about 2.5 hours.

- Day 7
Halifax Departure
What people love about 7-day Eastern Canada tours
- Wonders of the Bay of Fundy
Such an amazing tour. The description in the itinerary doesn't cover all of the amazing things you get to see. Our tour guide Lana was knowledgeable, friendly and so sweet. Kirby out driver was awesome, funny and helped everyone on and off the bus. Can't wait for my next tour
- Newfoundland & Labrador's Viking Trail from Corner Brook
Atlantic Tours and Travel was an excellent and well-organized company. Our guide Paul E. gave in-depth commentaries which I found very educational as to what we would be seeing each day on the tour. I thoroughly enjoyed this trip; especially the Labrador sites and those in Newfoundland, as well.
- Taste of the Maritimes
Great tour and wonderful guide and driver but missed our ferry ride back to Halifax and that is the part of the tour we were so looking forward too??
