We had a great time using Holiday in Egypt for our tour! Our guide, Hassan, was absolutely amazing. His storytelling really made it stick with us when giving the history of each site we saw. He was also so accommodating when one of our group members ended up getting sick (unrelated to anything in Egypt, just hit her at the wrong time). Hassan did his best to make her feel included and even added a stop to a local pharmacy to get some medicine for her. He went in and translated for us, and got her medicine. He was a fantastic guide, and you can tell that he really loves what he does. I would wholeheartedly suggest booking a tour with Holiday in Egypt. The one thing that I would be weary about is the Abu Simbel add on. We heard it was an amazing site, so we booked it, however, the 2:45am wake up call, plus the 4 hour drive there and 4 hours back, was not worth it. If that is something you really want to see, go ahead and book it, but if its something you can live without, sleep in. It was a fantastic trip and we really bonded with our group as well.

The tour company is very professional and responsive. You feel a peace of mind even before the start of the flight to Egypt. The tour is well organized and we had such a wonderful time. It’s eye opening to learn the civilization of Egypt and experience the culture of the very friendly people. I like that we have the tour of the ancient sites in combination of a break in Hurghada Red Sea resort. The hotels and transportation are of quality standard. A shoutout to our guide Mina who took exceptionally care of us. Highly recommend this well organized and reliable tour. No surprises!

When I initially booked the tour the communication response time was poor which lead me to believe I might have been scammed! Closer to departure date comms improved and I received a comprehensive itinerary. I was very relieved to have been met by the company representative (John) before passport control at Cairo airport. From then on “Vacations to go” Egypt was very good. Excellent guides and support staff, good quality and clean vehicles. We have no hiccups through the 9 day tour in terms of punctuality or bookings. Quality of the accommodation was good, however Swiss inn in Hurghada was disappointing from a food point of view and had to eat off site despite being on “all inclusive” package. The add on tours were expensive from a market related point of view but was worth it in terms of quality of vehicles and guides. Highly recommended.
