Lake Como's walking trails offer an excellent mix of lakeside and mountain paths, particularly around Gravedona where you can settle in for 7 nights. The daily walks stretch between 7 and 12 kilometers with climbs up to 550 meters - which our travelers say feels quite manageable most days. You'll pass through quiet villages like Livo, situated right where African and European tectonic plates meet. We've learned from client feedback that the downhill sections can be trickier than expected, so proper hiking boots are really important. For a longer trek, the Via Spluga route links Switzerland to Lake Como through deep gorges and mountain passes.
