What people love about Safari Tours in Tsavo National Park
- 3 Days Best Of Tsavo East and Tsavo West Mombasa Safari
The Tsavo East and Tsavo West Mombasa Safari excursion lasted three days. I really liked it. The first day I went to Tsavo East, I saw many big elephants, giraffes and different types of deer. The place is huge and beautiful. The guide was very good and explained everything. On the second day I went to Tsavo West. It's a great experience to be there. Mountains, lakes and many birds. On the way to Mombasa in the evening, watching the sunset fills the heart. Accommodation was comfortable and the food was good. Three days have gone by so fast. Those who want to see wildlife must go. A very nice memory indeed.

How does the landscape and ecosystem differ between Tsavo East and West?
Tsavo East's terrain consists of wide open plains dotted with acacia trees and the life-giving Galana River. Tsavo West in contrast presents a more rugged landscape with volcanic formations and the clear waters of Mzima Springs. These distinct environments create homes for different wildlife groups. Most visitors need 3-4 days at minimum to see Tsavo properly though 5-6 days allows for a more relaxed exploration of both parks. The vast 22,000 square kilometer area includes unique features from the Yatta Plateau to Mzima Springs. Extra days let visitors explore special sites like the Shetani Lava Flow and Chyulu Hills without rushing. Most Tsavo safaris cover both East and West parks along with nearby wildlife areas. Tours often start from Mombasa stopping first at Ngutuni Sanctuary then moving to Taita Hills Sanctuary. The route typically includes Amboseli National Park known for Kilimanjaro views before reaching Tsavo West's Mzima Springs to see hippos and crocodiles.
