We went on a 5-day safari from Mombasa. On the first morning, we took a pickup from the hotel and headed to Tsavo West National Park. It took a long time on the road, but the car was comfortable. On my first drive to Tsavo West, I went to see Mzima Springs. There were many hippos submerged in the water, and it was nice to hear the birds around. On the second day, I went to Amboseli National Park and tried to see the view of Kilimanjaro mountain, but it was not completely clear because there was a little fog in the morning. However, many elephant herds were on the move, and giraffes were eating the leaves of trees with long necks. The last two days were in Tsavo East. Many zebras and red dust elephants were seen walking on the red mud road there. The guide explained the names and habits of the animals. Accommodations were average, beds were good, but I slept well at night. The food was simple - rice, vegetables, meat - but not the same every day. I was a little weary of the heat and dust, but overall, it was pleasant.
