  A huge thank you to Khumji & Oongshu for everything you both did for me during this journey. From the very beginning, Khumji was incredibly proactive, always making sure every detail was taken care of and constantly checking in to see how I was doing. Oongshu Sherpa was not just a guide during the trek, but someone who genuinely cared about my safety, wellbeing, and morale every single day on the mountain. When I broke my toe at Khare and things became really difficult, both of you handled the situation with so much calmness and professionalism. Coordinating with the insurance company, arranging the helicopter evacuation, reassuring me when I was stressed — you were on top of everything. In moments like that, you truly realise the importance of having the right people around you in the mountains. What touched me the most was that this journey never felt transactional. Beyond the trekking professionalism, there was a genuine personal connection, kindness, and care that made me feel looked after throughout. Those small conversations, the constant encouragement, and the way you both treated me like family made this experience unforgettable. Nepal 🇳🇵 is already magical on its own, but people like Khumji & Oongshu are what make the experience truly special. I’ll always be grateful for everything you both did for me.   We went to visit Nepal on first week of March. We visited Kathmandu, Nagarkot, Pokhara. My family loved it, especially in Pokhara where we spent 2 nights. The sunrise view from Sarankot was amazing. It was bit colder due to rainfall. Everything was made easy by Machhindra. He was with us from the beginning till the end. And he guided us himself. He is really helpful, always taking care of us. Because of our old age, we have sometime problem in taking care of ourselves. The sites, temples of Kathmandu was amazing. Thank you Machhindra, Radhika and the Oriental Journeys team. We enjoyed jungle safari in Chitwan National Park too. We will come back for more

  Real Nepal Experience Tour 12 Days

  I did the Mera Peak trekking over 15 days, organized by Nepal Climbing Adventure. Mr. Krishna Subedi (Kris) is the manager of the organization. He is a very good co-ordinator, puts you immediately on whatsapp when you arrive, and keeps following up your trekking and summit experience. When there were small problems, he immediately took action and contacted the right people. My guide Mr. Neyma Sherpa was also very helpfull and an excellent guide. The trek itself was very enjoyable. The Tea houses were very good and they were very flexible when i prefered another teahouse than the one they already booked. I really recommend Nepal Climbing Adventure! A few extra things to keep in mind: - The month May used to be the best month for Mera Peak but we had a lot of rain... May-be April or October is becoming better now... - Listen to your guide at all times and don't go up to fast. The trekking is also about acclimatizing. Sometimes you need that extra day at 4000m... - Take a portable solar panel with you and a power bank. (min 12W, 20W is better). It will pay itself back. You pay a lot in the teahouses to get your phone charged (a lot of them also use solar power). - I personally prefer not to rent climbing gear but to take my own. I always hike and climb with the same pair of C boots with semi-automatic crampons. My C boots are big enough to wear 2 pair of socks if necessary. My smartwhool socks were warm enough on the summit day (-10 to -15 °C) - Take a porter. They are not expensive and your hiking comfort will increase a lot. - Don't forget to use sunscreen, especially on the summit day when you leave at 2 am in the dark and you're not thinking about the sun at that time. - Make sure you are in excellent physical shape. After the summit, you will need 3 more days to get to Lukla.
