What people love about Italy Tours for Couples
- 5-day Best of Italy: Rome, Florence & Venice
Was a great tour of so many cities. Would have liked a more detail itinerary at the beginning of the tour.
- Sicilian Secrets - Mini Tour of Sicily 5 days
We loved the Sicilian Secrets tour. Accommodation was great at most places and good at the lowest rated hotel. The places we. I sited we would not have been able to visit on our own especially the valley of the temples and the roman villa
- Classical Italy
For the money, the experience was very good. The hotels, the tours and tour guides, buses and schedules worked out pretty well. Communication was not always good but the language differences played a part in that. I would like to especially commend the tour guide Reid (not sure I spelled his name correctly). He was excellent and I much appreciated his outstanding service.
What our customers ask about Romantic Italy Trips & Honeymoon Packages
When is the best time for couples to visit Italy?
Spring and fall are perfect for a romantic Italian trip. In April-May and September-October, you'll enjoy comfortable temperatures of 65-75°F (18-24°C) and fewer tourists than in peak season. These months are great for dining outside, trying local wines, and exploring historic places at your own pace. If you're heading to the Amalfi Coast, plan for September when the beaches and boats are still warm but less crowded. Venice is especially nice in spring when flowers are blooming and evening gondola rides are just right.
What are the most romantic locations included in Italian tours for couples?
You'll find plenty of spots perfect for two in Italy. Venice's winding canals set the scene for private gondola rides, while the Amalfi Coast offers beautiful villages like Positano to explore together. In Tuscany, you can share wine tastings surrounded by gentle hills, and Florence invites you to take evening walks by the Arno River near the Ponte Vecchio bridge. Many couples who've taken tours really like staying at the Grand Hotel Mediterraneo in Florence and Hotel Sorriso Thermae in Ischia for their romantic settings.
Which Italian cities offer the best romantic accommodations?
In Venice, you can stay at cozy hotels like the Grande Albergo Ausonia right by the canals. Florence has the Grand Hotel Mediterraneo along the Arno River, perfect for romantic walks. If you're visiting Sorrento, the Hotel Miramare gives you beautiful views of the sea, while Rome's Hotel Il Cantico offers a truly Italian feel. Many couples who've stayed at the Hotel Baia Taormina say they loved the setting and views from their rooms.
What are the most romantic locations for couples to visit in Italy?
The Amalfi Coast and Positano are really special places for couples, with amazing ocean views and cozy restaurants. Many travelers love taking the Path of the Gods hike together, and spending evenings in Capri's charming main square, the Piazzetta. The Hotel Villa Angela in Taormina and Hotel Miramare in Sorrento are favorites among couples for their views. As one traveler put it: "The views from the terrace are spectacular and perfect for a romantic evening."
What unique romantic activities are available in different Italian regions?
Each part of Italy offers something special for couples. In Venice, you can take private gondola rides through quiet canals. The Amalfi Coast is perfect for boat trips and dinners watching the sunset. In Tuscany, you can try wines together at local vineyards. Hotels like the San Cassiano in Venice and NH Palermo can help set up special experiences for couples. Past travelers often mention the "magical evening experiences in Positano and the romantic atmosphere of Capri's Piazzetta."
Which Italian destinations are most recommended for a romantic getaway?
The Amalfi Coast and Tuscany top the list for romantic trips. Along the Amalfi Coast, you'll find dramatic sea views and charming towns like Positano and Ravello. Tuscany offers peaceful vineyard landscapes and medieval towns like San Gimignano and Gaiole in Chianti. Up north, Lakes Como and Maggiore are perfect for couples, with their beautiful gardens and historic villas. One traveler shared: "The Amalfi Coast is stunning and the people of Italy were very welcoming and helpful, making it perfect for a romantic escape."
