20 Days in Indonesia, incl. Jakarta and Bali
Indonesian adventures await across 14 cities from Jakarta to Bali for around $3,200. Highlights include Borobudur Temple, Munduk's waterfalls, Mount Bromo horseback riding, and Nusa Penida's beaches. Package includes 19 nights accommodation and 18 lunches.

- Days 1-2
Jakarta
Begin your journey in Indonesia's capital. Plan your airport transfers outside peak hours (avoid 7-9am and 4-7pm) since Jakarta's traffic can be intense. Use your first day to rest and adjust. On day 2, explore the historic Kota Tua district and visit the Fatahillah Museum to learn about Dutch colonial history. The best time to see Sunda Kelapa harbor is early morning when traditional wooden pinisi boats load their cargo.

- Days 3-4
Bandung Region
Start with a morning visit to Bogor's Botanical Gardens - get there by 8am to avoid crowds and heat. Head to Bandung for the Saung Angklung Udjo cultural show. "The bamboo music performance was incredible - don't miss the chance to try playing the instruments yourself." Spend the next day hiking Tangkuban Perahu volcano. Bring good shoes as the crater paths get slippery.

- Days 5-6
Dieng Plateau & Borobudur
- Days 7-9
Yogyakarta
- Days 10-11
Mount Bromo
- Days 12-14
Bali's North Coast
Stop at Kalibaru's spice plantations before crossing to Bali's peaceful north coast. Choose between Pemuteran or Munduk for a more authentic Bali experience. Take a trek to three waterfalls near Munduk and visit Lake Bratan's Ulun Danu temple. "The morning mist over the lake makes the floating temple look magical - get there before 9am for the best atmosphere."
- Days 15-17
Ubud
Make Ubud your base for cultural activities. See the Barong dance in the morning when performers have the most energy. Visit Monkey Forest late afternoon when the animals are active but tourist numbers are lower. Join a morning cooking class to learn local dishes and visit the market.
- Days 18-20
South Bali
Take a morning boat to Nusa Penida when the sea is calmer. Watch the sunset and Kecak fire dance at Uluwatu temple. Use your last day to relax before leaving. Plan ahead for airport transfers since south Bali traffic can be heavy.
What people love about 3-week Indonesia tours
- Best Java & Bali Experience, Private Tour
We gad a great trip in Jaca & Bali. The planning was very comfortable and the guides (Roy in Java and Madeh in Bali) were very nice people, very accommodating and tried to do as much as they could to give us a good time.
- Epic Indonesia 19 Days
Epic Indonesia 19 – what an unforgettable trip! ? We got to experience everything the tour promised: surfing, islands with white sandy beaches and crystal-clear water, the Monkey Forest, visiting a local family and a Sasak village, plus the incredible 2-day boat trip – with Komodo dragons, snorkeling with turtles, manta rays, colorful fish and corals. Our group leader Annie was amazing – she had everything under control, made sure everyone felt seen, was full of positive energy, and just the sweetest. She truly made the experience so special ?? Highly recommend!
- Bali & Beyond
Where to start!! My Tour around Indonesia with Monk and Orty was amazing. The trip was full of a variety of activities suited for everyone, such as cooking classes, visiting rice fields, snorkelling and more! Monk was an amazing leader of the trip and brought great energy, which was mirrored amazingly from Orty who was representing the marketing department. The footage, photos, memories, vibes and activities were amazing and I wish I could do it all again.
