- Days 1-2
Kuta & Uluwatu
Start your trip in Kuta, Bali's vibrant beach town. Visit the beautiful 1000-year-old Uluwatu Temple on the cliffs. Plan to arrive before 4 PM to beat the crowds. A recent visitor shared: "Watching the sunset at Uluwatu was magical, but bring a sarong to cover up and watch out for the cheeky monkeys who love stealing sunglasses!"

- Days 3-4

- Days 5-6
Nusa Lembongan
- Days 7-10
Ubud Culture
Stay in central Ubud for easy temple access. Visit the Monkey Forest right when it opens at 8 AM. Join a local cooking class - as one traveler said: "Learning to make satay lilit from scratch while sitting in a traditional Balinese home was the highlight of my trip." Get to Tegalalang Rice Terraces before 9 AM for the best photos in soft morning light.

- Days 11-14

- Days 15-16
Mountain Retreat & Waterfalls
- Days 17-18

19 Days in Indonesia, incl. Bali and Komodo
This 19-day trip starts in Canggu with surf lessons on black sand beaches and visits to Tanah Lot temple. Cycle around car-free Gili Trawangan, snorkel with sea turtles, and trek Ubud's Tegalalang Rice Terraces before learning to make traditional Canang Sari offerings.

18 Day Indonesia Itinerary, incl. Sumatra and Bali
This 6-day Bali itinerary features Tanah Lot and Taman Ayun temples, surf lessons at Kuta Beach, and cooking classes in Ubud. Visit Tegalalang rice terraces, Monkey Forest, and finish with island hopping around Gili T. All transfers and accommodations included.

- Days 1-4
Northern Sumatra
Start your journey in Medan before traveling to Bukit Lawang. The trip takes about 4 hours by private van. Book a morning departure to avoid Medan's heavy afternoon traffic. Once in Bukit Lawang, join a guided trek through Gunung Leuser National Park to spot orangutans. You'll need sturdy hiking shoes since the trails can get slippery in wet season. After your jungle adventure, try tubing down the Bohorok River. This exciting 45-minute ride is best during dry season (June-September) when water levels are just right.

- Days 5-8
Mentawai Islands
Take a 1-hour flight to Padang followed by a 3-hour speedboat ride to the Mentawai Islands. You'll stay in traditional Uma longhouses. Bring a sleeping bag since nights can be cool. As one traveler shared: "Living with the Mentawai tribe was humbling. The Shaman showed us medicinal plants and traditional hunting techniques passed down for generations." Go island hopping to snorkel at Turtle Point and Snake Island. The water is clearest during dry season.

- Days 9-11
Canggu
Fly to Denpasar (2.5 hours) and head to trendy Canggu. Take surfing lessons at Kuta Beach. The morning waves are gentler for beginners. Visit Tanah Lot temple at low tide to walk across to the rock formation. Check out Pretty Poison's skate bowl bar for unique nightlife. The Berawa area makes a great base with easy beach access.

- Days 12-14
Ubud
It takes 1-1.5 hours to drive from Canggu. Get to Tegalalang rice terraces before 9am to beat the crowds and avoid the midday heat. Look for cooking classes that include market visits. Most run from 9am to 1pm. In the Sacred Monkey Forest, skip wearing loose items or jewelry. The monkeys will grab anything they can. For sunrise views, hike Mount Batur but pack warm clothes. The pre-dawn start gets cold.

- Days 15-18
Gili Islands

Epic Indonesia 19 – what an unforgettable trip! ? We got to experience everything the tour promised: surfing, islands with white sandy beaches and crystal-clear water, the Monkey Forest, visiting a local family and a Sasak village, plus the incredible 2-day boat trip – with Komodo dragons, snorkeling with turtles, manta rays, colorful fish and corals. Where to start!! My Tour around Indonesia with Monk and Orty was amazing. The trip was full of a variety of activities suited for everyone, such as cooking classes, visiting rice fields, snorkelling and more! Monk was an amazing leader of the trip and brought great energy, which was mirrored amazingly from Orty who was representing the marketing department. The footage, photos, memories, vibes and activities were amazing and I wish I could do it all again.
