3 Days in Bali, incl. Nusa Penida and Kuta
Marine life awaits during full-day West Nusa Penida excursion. Snorkel pristine waters, visit Kelingking Beach and Angel's Billabong. Two nights at ZIA BALI KUTA with breakfast and professional guides.

- Day 1
Arrival in Kuta, Bali:
Plan to arrive in the morning if possible. The drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport to your Kuta hotel takes 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you're settled, head to Kuta Beach in the afternoon when the sun isn't as strong. If you want to try surfing, board rentals cost about $5-10 per hour and the waves are perfect for beginners. Book your stay near ZIA Bali Kuta to be close to both the beach and your departure point for tomorrow.

- Day 2
Nusa Penida Adventure:
Your hotel pickup is at 6:00 AM. Take motion sickness medicine before the 45-minute ferry ride from Sanur Harbor. Sit in the middle of the boat where it's most stable. The snorkeling spots have strong currents, so pay attention to your guide's safety briefing. Kelingking Beach viewpoint offers amazing photo opportunities, but consider staying at the viewpoint instead of hiking down to the beach. The descent takes about 45 minutes on steep stairs. At Angel's Billabong, only swim in the natural pool when your guide says it's safe. High tide can bring dangerous waves.

- Day 3
Departure:
2 Day Bali Itinerary, incl. Mount Batur and Kintamani
Mountain adventure scales Mount Batur from Kintamani to 1,717m summit. First day covers transfers, second includes pre-dawn trek, Lake Batur sunrise, crater walks, and hot spring relaxation before Ubud return.

- Day 1
Kintamani Arrival and Preparation
Start your journey with a transfer to Kintamani located about 1.5 hours from Ubud or 2.5 hours from southern Bali's beach areas. Plan to arrive by early afternoon so you can prepare for tomorrow's adventure. Since Kintamani sits at 1,500m elevation the evening temperatures can drop to 15°C (59°F), so pack a light jacket and hiking shoes. The rest of the afternoon should be spent resting since you'll need to wake up around 2:00 AM for the trek.

- Day 2
Mount Batur Sunrise Trek
Your day begins with an early pickup between 2:00-2:30 AM for a short drive to the trek starting point. Your guide will provide flashlights for the 2-hour climb in darkness. One experienced trekker shared: "The path can be quite steep and slippery with volcanic scree - trekking poles really helped, especially on the descent." The climb to the 1,717m summit is challenging but most people with basic fitness can manage it. Your guide will set a comfortable pace to reach the top around 6:00 AM just in time for sunrise. At the summit you'll enjoy breakfast including eggs cooked in volcanic steam vents plus coffee and tea. When the sun rises you'll see incredible views of Lake Batur and Mount Agung spread out before you. After enjoying the sunrise you'll walk around the crater rim to explore recent lava flows and steam vents. The walk down takes about 1.5 hours. Before heading back to your hotel you'll stop at natural hot springs to relax your muscles. You should be back at your hotel by late morning. Important tips: - Dress in layers since it starts cold but warms up after sunrise - Bring at least 1 liter of water per person - Use proper hiking shoes with good grip for the loose volcanic gravel - Consider hiring a porter if you're bringing camera equipment - Book between April and October for the best chance of clear sunrise views - Let your guide know if you need to go slower than the group While the trek needs moderate fitness and might be tough for people with knee problems because of the steep descent, watching the sunrise from the summit is an unforgettable Bali experience.

What people love about 3-day Bali tours
- Instagram Tour with Photographer - Private All-Inclusive
Anyone who loves photography will have an amazing time on this tour. Every day brought another beautiful location, and the photographer knew exactly how to make the most of each setting. The dramatic scenery at Nusa Penida was the biggest highlight, especially the incredible cliffs and beaches. Lempuyang Temple provided another unforgettable photo opportunity, while Tirta Gangga and Ulun Danu Bratan were peaceful and beautiful. What we appreciated most was the personalized service. The photographer was friendly, patient, and never made us feel uncomfortable while taking pictures. The private transportation also made moving between locations easy. We came home with beautiful memories and a fantastic collection of photographs.
- 3 Days Experience Nusa Penida Island
We couldn't fault our 3 day Nusa Penida experience with BaliTripMate Our lovely driver Diky picked us up from our hotel to catch a speed boat from Sanur to Nusa Penida. On arriving, we were greeted by our amazing Nusa Penida driver Kadek. BaliTripMate's exceptional itinerary included the incredible sights of the lesser known of Nusa Penida Island. We visited Kelingking Beach, Angel's Billabong, Broken Beach, Diamond Beach, Peguyanan and Tembeling Waterfalls, Goa Giri Putri Temple and Crystal Bay stopping for lunches at a local restaurants. Kadek was punctual to pick us up from our hotel and assisted in recommending times to start the day to best avoid larger crowds and take photos with the best position of the sun. Kadek made the trip fantastic. He was friendly, talkative, knowledgable and took amazing pictures of us - everything was seamless and we never felt rushed or pressured. Kadek was even kind enough to buy us traditional local meal to try for breakfast. Both Riki and Kadek went to great lengths to provide us with a memorable and enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend a trip to Nusa Penida to explore the beautiful island and contacting Riki and the team at BaliTripMate for support planning your itinerary.
