We aren't normally "organised tour" type people but I must say our experience on this tour might turn us into fans. This 8-day circle route covers Taiwan's varied landscapes and cultural sites, with stays in 4-5 star hotels throughout. The National Palace Museum and Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall in Taipei anchor the first part of the trip. A boat cruise around crescent-shaped Sun Moon Lake includes stops at Xuanzang Temple and Wenwu Temple. Tainan's colonial Fort Zeelandia shows the area's historical connections.
