It was a very fulfilling trip. We had no issues anywhere, all went smoothly. Our driver and guide Sayeed was a real pro, seems like he knew every single person in Oman. Good company and good driver too. Although we were somewhat knowledgeable about the country, it was still better than what we had hoped for. Wonderful and friendly people, nice clean cities and towns, hotel accommodations very satisfactory, unique country and diverse culture. It was all very worth it. Would not change much if we were to do over.
The Treasures of Oman - Muscat, Ras Al Had, Wahiba and NizwaThe most value for money tour of Oman- good transport, accommodations and food. Points for improvement- - Tour guide should be engaging and imparting lots of information regarding the sights, which I found lacking. There was no formal introduction even and most of the time, he was repeating some very basic information about the places unless asked further questions. He needs to have room numbers and some people's phone contacts to be better organised. - Although it was not a problem for me being young, a lot of the locations are not truly accessible for people with mobility issues eg Wadis and this should be mentioned beforehand as they are essentially cannot be explored by the elderly. - Nizwa fort should be included on the last day - longer time at the mosque, the wadis and Nizwa souk - restaurants need to be chosen to include vegetarian mains or this needs to be explained beforehand as I accidentally ate meat on the first night thinking it was the alternative vegetarian option, which it was not. The starters were the only veggie thing. Apart from this meal, the other meals were good/ ok

Watching the green turtles under the moonlight was a truly mesmerizing experience. The coastal gems of Wadi Shab and Fins Beach were equally breathtaking, with crystal-clear waters and lush landscapes. The snorkeling adventure in the Sea of Oman was another highlight, offering us a glimpse into the vibrant underwater world. Seeing dolphins up close was a thrilling experience. Our stay at Crown Plaza Muscat was the perfect way to end our trip. Peregrine Treks and Tours ensured every detail was taken care of, making our Oman adventure seamless and enriching. We leave with a treasure trove of memories and stories to share, deeply grateful for this extraordinary journey.
