This tour provides excellent insights into the history & culture of Egypt. Extremely professional dealings with Timeless Tours from initial booking to arrivals. Can’t speak highly enough of their professionalism and ensuring everything went odd without a hitch!! Would recommend & use Timeless Tours to anyone so it’s 5 stars from me!!

Our guide, Samar, was truly amazing. Not only with her knowledge of Egyptian history and culture but also in her organization, preparation, and overall flexibility with our group. I loved the fact that there were set locations and even said excursions but when time and group preference allowed there were additional choices. This was an additional cost but completely up to each individual person. That overall flexibility really made it feel like this was your individual tour. Everyone that we came in contact with from timeless tours was not only incredibly friendly but truly wanted to make sure that you had the best tour possible. It truly felt like a family experience.

Very good English and extremely knowlegable of the history of egypt. She kept us on schedule, gave advise on souvenir costs and provided wake up calls for the early morning departures. She had a lot of energy and always greeted us with a smile.
If we do another trip I would want to have Samar as a guide again.

My husband and I were the only 2 in our group with Timeless, and we had many upgrades the rest of our group did not have, such as a suite vs room on the Nile Cruise, business class flight to Aswan from Cairo, and certain excursions that was an add-on expense for the rest of the group. The war with Iran broke out while we were there and yet we felt perfectly safe! Were it not for seeing the news we would have no idea a conflict began. Timeless Tours is top notch with beautiful accommodations all along this amazing journey! Come to Egypt and experience the magic!

We personalised the tour so spent a few days in Alexandria instead of travelling further down the Nile and everything was organised perfectly for us.

We hit the highlights, had ample time to view the sights, and our guide, Samar, was professional, knowledgeable and easy to engage. Samar was exceptionally honest, telling us when overpayment had been made, and refunding us what was necessary. It spoke volumes as to her character. In fact, everyone we had contact with from the company was professional and pleasant.
The downside of our experience was the aggressiveness of the merchants and carriage drivers, the dismal state of the publicly available restrooms, and the excessive tipping culture. Of course these things were outside of the control of the tour company.

Ok....due to the fact that I clearly stated the day of arrival....and no greeting at airport left me in a lurch of where I was going ...staying...was a mess and stressful...after finally getting it fi…Ok....due to the fact that I clearly stated the day of arrival....and no greeting at airport left me in a lurch of where I was going ...staying...was a mess and stressful...after finally getting it figured it out....paying an extra 140 dollars was not cool. The overall van and transport was nice....the drive to the boat...you need to promote the airplane more....the road is horrendous..the sights were great...the vendors not so much.Tour guides explanations were good...needs to lighten up a tad...and try to inject maybe a bit of humour into it.The boat on the nile was nice.....the food very bland....could do with out the two day stop in Hurghada...not a resort kind of person.....if there was more info on golf there I would of been happy. Trip back to Cairo was ok.....long and last day at museums I felt a tad rushed while trying to take photos. Best stop there was at market where you didn't have to haggle on items......other then that it's ok....but again could pass on perfume factory... papyrus place...or alabaster shop....just felt pushed to buy things. Again I would recommend the company....but won't go above okay.....think it's hard to please everyone but it was a cultural eye opener.Best of luck in future to timeless travels....they will work out the kinks.

Our group was small--just one other couple and the four of us got along well. Our guide, Samar, was the best. She was knowledge, kind, and flexible. Because of the group size, we had more input into how long to stay at particular sites. At the end of the tour, Samar helped us arrange transportation from Cairo to Alexandria and back again. The accommodations were excellent. All the hotels and the boat were comfortable and provided good service and tasty food.

I can only recommend! From the first contact point with Hany, who has very helpful and responsive to all my questions prior booking, to the whole experience itself. My tour guide was Samar and she is incredible. You cannot ask for a better person to show you all the highlights as she did. And beyond, not only as a tour guide she was very knowledgeable but also as a person she is so humane, making you feel like family. She took care of me when I got sick to the stomach, and also she helped me until the last day to change my hotel on an extra day I had. Even though it was a group tour, I was so lucky I had her to myself during the last 3 days of my stay! Everything is well organized and delivered as promised and beyond!

We arrived early, so chose to do an optional dinner cruise and a trip to Alexandria. For those events, George was our guide. He was funny, attentive and very knowledgeable. We were very sad we found out we would not be in his group for the full tour.
Then we met Samar (pronounced Summer). She was amazing. Our group was small, only 8 of us, which allowed us to get to know each other fast and well. Samar brought us together like a little travel family. She was so knowledgeable and passionate about Egypt. On the rare occasion that we asked a question she could not answer, she would make a call or two and get the answer.
I had gone on this trip to see the Pyramids and Luxor temple but I saw and learned so much more. Samar made each temple felt more important and more interesting than the last. She even taught us how to barter at the market.
Take advantage of the extra's, you will be glad you did. Whether it is climbing up to the tombs in the Pyramid (yes it is up and not down) or visiting an extra temple, there is so much to learn.

I'd give her a 1,000/10 rating. Having her as our guide not only allowed us to know exactly what we were looking at everytime, but also made us feel safe. She was there to help in every single way possible and as a woman myself I can't being to explain how great she is. If you have a chance to book with her definitely do it! This trip was a once in a lifetime type for us, and we had a great time. The tours were pretty organized but could have been better, I'd give a 7/10 for organization. The cruise was nice but no actual Nye party like a were supposed to have, the bar on the roof never opened either. The main drawback of the trip are the vendors that hassle you to death. Sometimes it felt like I could not stand and enjoy the ancient ruins because they don't leave you alone. Maybe having a security with you at each location would be good. I would give a 6/10 for hotel quality. Could be better or updated beds but definitely liveable. I wish they served the food on the cruise to you and they had more social distancing measures because of felt really cramped at dinner on the boat and everyone was touching all the food and in the end of the trip I was left with a stomach bug but it has passed now. The transportation was a 10/10. Everyone that works for this company was incredible!!!! Everyone. Definitely an amazing experience and I would recommend timeless tours to anyone.

Definitely want to start out by saying thank you to the Timeless Tours group in Egypt. Shouldn't normally judge a place based on reviews but alone, but there's a reason why they have so many wonderful reviews, as well as being voted the best tour in Africa for 2 years in a row...and it shows! Due to the circumstances, I was supposed to go to Turkey after this tour ended, but ended up staying an extra 2 days in Egypt...because I didn't have a negative PCR test so they didn't let me on the plane, it was a nightmare!!! Luckily I contacted my guide, went back to the hotel, they arranged a covid test for me and ended up doing the Alexandria excursion the next day. Things got a whole lot better, felt like it wouldn't have played out that way had I gone with somebody else. Other than that, I really enjoyed this tour and my entire time in Egypt, hands down recommended it to anybody out there! My highlights were sailing down the Nile River, as well as the Great Pyramids/Philae Temple...oh an Abu Simbal too! Of course, can't forget about the Red Sea in Hurghada which was just stunning, wish I had spent more time there.

The highlight of Timeless Tours is how well they cared for us. By the second day, I ended up with a terrible ear infection and needed to go to the hospital. My tour guide immediately called a team member who took me to the hospital and was there with me every step of the way. Seriously, he helped me with every step (and there were many steps!), and I felt SO cared for. This level of compassion far surpassed my expectations.
If you are hoping to get the most out of a short trip to Egypt, this tour is 100% for you. We saw so many incredible sites while practicing safe precautions for COVID.

The Timeless company is very professional, the itinerary were wonderful, I was able to see most of of the places that I wanted in 10 days. I actually went with a 3 night nile cruise instead due to a small crowd in the Covid season, we had an especially small group of 3. I arrived in Cairo alone at midnight, and was received by a Timeless agent at the custom, the clearance and transfer were fast and smooth, then I was received by Sam at the hotel at 1am. The people at Timeless are so dedicated, they work 24/7! For the next 10 days, the tour guide Samar stayed with me, she was amazing, the best guide I ever had!! She is very knowledgeable, helpful, and considerate. During the nile cruise, I was able to go onto an additional tour to see the Edfu temple with carriage ride though it was not part of the itinerary. For the 2 days, I was the only guest for Samar due to Covid, I was lucky to get to visit the museum, Cairo, and 2 additional pyramids as private tours. All the transfers were so smooth in between the airport, hotels, cruise, bus, and the train. Some parts of Egypt may not be very safe, so we actually had a security guy with us on the tour bus (you should definitely go with a tour rather than traveling alone). The Timeless company is very professional and dedicated, highly recommended!

She is passionate about sharing knowledge about Egypt and is well-informed. She was very knowledgeable and shared facts and interesting stories at every stop, and she also gave us free time to explore on our own. She also was very responsible and made sure we had plenty of time and never felt rushed. Samar is the best, and we've traveled the world. The hotel and food was good, and best on the boat cruise. We highly recommend this tour if you are ready for one the best adventures of your life!
