10 Day Europe Football Tour Itinerary, incl. Amsterdam and Milan
San Siro Stadium reveals Italian football heritage as home to AC Milan. Players' tunnels, trophy rooms, and AC Milan Museum await visitors. The tour pairs with Milan highlights including the Duomo and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.

- Days 1-3
Amsterdam & Johan Cruyff Arena
Land in Amsterdam and get settled at your hotel. The city center isn't huge but can be tricky to navigate. Pick up a free map from your hotel and mark the main tram lines. Start day 2 with a 2.5-hour walking tour from Beursplein. Pack good walking shoes since Amsterdam's cobblestones can be rough on your feet. The tour will help you understand the canal system so you can find your way around better later. On day 3 visit the Johan Cruyff Arena. Take metro line 54 from Centraal Station for a 15-minute ride. A day ticket is better value than single fares. Tours start at 10:30 AM and you'll see the Ajax dressing room, players' tunnel and trophy room. If you want Ajax gear, stop at the museum shop first before the tour crowds arrive.

- Days 4-6
Munich & Allianz Arena
Take the morning train to Munich which takes about 7 hours. Check flight prices too as Lufthansa sometimes offers deals around $120. Munich's public transport works really well. Get a 3-day IsarCard to cover all your trips. Start by exploring Munich's Old Town on foot in the morning. Then spend a full day at the Allianz Arena. Take the U6 subway to Fröttmaning station. You can't miss the stadium with its color-changing walls. A recent visitor said: "The stadium tour feels incredibly intimate - you actually get to sit in the same spots where Bayern's stars prepare for matches. The press room was my highlight."

- Days 7-10
Milan & San Siro
The train ride to Milan takes about 6 hours through beautiful Alpine landscapes. Use your first full day to see the city by hop-on-hop-off bus. It's a good way to understand Milan's circular layout. Plan a full morning for the San Siro stadium. Take the M5 metro to San Siro Stadio station. Get there when it opens at 9:30 AM to beat the crowds. Bring a light jacket to the San Siro even in warm weather since it gets cool inside. Between September and May you might catch a live AC Milan or Inter Milan game. You can buy tickets on the clubs' websites about 2 weeks before matches.

9 Days in Italian Lakes, incl. Milan and Lake Garda
Lakes Maggiore, Como, and Garda showcase their beauty across 9 days and 8 cities. Baveno, Verona's Roman arena, UNESCO-listed Mantua, and Modena's Ferrari Museum create lasting memories. Twelve meals and luxury coach transit included.

- Days 1-2
Milan & Lake Maggiore
Plan to arrive at Malpensa Airport before 2 PM to catch your transfer to Baveno. "Book a morning flight as later arrivals meant a costly private transfer to Baveno," advises a recent traveler. Spend your first evening walking Baveno's lakefront promenade. On day two, take a boat trip to the Borromean Islands. Get your tickets at the dock before 9 AM to avoid the crowds.

- Day 3
Lake Como
Take the early morning train from Baveno to Lake Como. The 90-minute ride gives you a full day to explore the elegant towns. Visit Bellagio and Varenna, which are linked by regular ferries. A visitor reports: "The mid-lake ferry pass was worth it - we hopped between towns all day and got the best photos from the water."

- Days 4-5
Lake Garda Area
- Day 6
Verona Day Trip
- Day 7
Bergamo & Modena
- Days 8-9
Milan Finale
Your trip ends in Milan. Get to the Duomo at 8 AM opening to skip long lines. If you want to see The Last Supper, book tickets months ahead. For shopping, try the Brera district instead of the busy Golden Triangle for equally good stores.

- Northern Italian Lakes & Countryside
Accommodations need to be walking distance to town like Stresa.lake Garda Villa Mariantoo far but comfortable clean. Be more clear on excursions...eg inside Milan duomo sounded like bus trip around city.
- Country Roads of Northern Italy (Classic Group)
Absolutely fantastic itinerary. Well paced, excellent optional activities which ties in well with the tour. Visits parts of Italy which don't get as much attention as others such as Rome, Florence etc...
- Best of Northern Italy: Florence to Venice
Elena was delightful. She was full of energy and information and made us feel welcome and relaxed. Elena made David feel special for his birthday. We have nothing but good things to say about her. Wonderful memories.
