My three day choice for Rabbie’s tours to explore the Isle of Wight in the UK was a highlight of my entire visit to England. The itinerary and the accommodation were well prepared and delivered from the start of our trip. Jack was our tour guide and driver on May 6-8 2026. He was most knowledgeable for the history and sites that we were shown and he was able to add other stops that were impromptu along the way. He was available to answer all questions and was most friendly to interact with all 13 of our travelers. we visited all sites on our full itinerary of these three days and the quality of our Tour vehicle and bed-and-breakfast at Saint Leonards house was excellent. We were very comfortable and felt safe. We would highly recommend Rabbie’s Tours. We have been using tourradar.com in the past for reservation choices for the last 8 years. The Isle of Wight is a must see for anyone who would like to go back in time and see what Queen Victoria and family experienced while living there. The Osborne house was stunning and we had plenty of time to walk the grounds and see the house itself in detail. Thank you for making this tour such a good choice.
3-Day Isle of Wight and the Southern Coast Small-Group Tour from LondonI enjoyed my tour immensely in 2019. (When I entered correct date on this site it wouldn’t accept it! ) I booked another tour but coronavirus arrived. I thoroughly recommend David’s tour to anyone considering a trip to beautiful Cornwall. David is a fantastic gentleman, his itinerary is well planned and accommodation was delightful. I was fortunate to meet Doc Martin’s policeman - a real treat for me. If you are considering a Cornish tour please peruse David’s site. The only downside for me was the exchange rate between Australian dollars and American.
Cornwall Tour Starting in LondonThe guides were great! The accommodation we’re okay with one glaring exception. The Telstar B&B was a dump. It was dirty, most things in the room did not work and I had to go over the corner of the bed to get into the bathroom. The fire alarm went off 3 times at about 6am. No one checked the rooms to make sure everyone was accounted for and no explanation of what was going on was offered.

- Summer 2026
Summer's perfect for longer explorations into Devon and Cornwall. Most popular tours combine Stonehenge with stops along the Jurassic Coast where you can hunt for fossils. The 3-day trips pack in quite a bit - you'll see Durdle Door's natural arch and spend time in Exeter with its Roman walls, gothic cathedral and also Tudor buildings. On 7-day tours you get to properly explore Dartmoor's open spaces, wander through Boscastle's Elizabethan streets and catch a show at the Minack Theatre right on the cliff edge. What works really well is having two nights in places like Exeter and Falmouth - TourRadar customers tell us it gives them proper time to get to know these old port towns and also find their own favorite spots.

- Fall / Autumn 2026
By autumn the crowds thin out and the landscapes fill with color. Most people start at Stonehenge before heading to Glastonbury to climb the Tor. Then it's on to Bath where you can take it easy with afternoon tea and walks past Georgian buildings. The longer tours head to the Isle of Wight which is lovely and quiet this time of year - our travelers really enjoy watching the sun go down from St. Catherine's Down and exploring Winchester's old mill and also its cathedral. If you go for 7 days you'll get deep into Cornwall to see St. Ives' galleries, the cliffs at Land's End and also St. Michael's Mount rising from the water. The cooler autumn weather makes it much nicer for walking around medieval towns and coastal paths according to our TourRadar customers.

- Spring 2027
Your first chance to really explore South West England comes in spring, with small-group tours heading from London to the Isle of Wight. You'll start by going up the 170-meter Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth before catching a ferry across. The highlight for many is Queen Victoria's Osborne House - an Italian-style mansion with golden rooms and carefully maintained gardens. These 3-day trips take in the white chalk formations at the Needles and also the cliffs at St. Catherine's Down. If you've got more time, the 7-day options add Stonehenge, spots to see Dartmoor's wild ponies and also the lovely fishing village of Port Isaac in Cornwall. Our guide Amir gets lots of mentions from TourRadar customers for mixing local insights with great food tips and also keeping the mood up with well-chosen driving music.
