20 Day Alaska Itinerary, incl. Anchorage and Denali National Park
Alaska's wilderness beckons over 20 days across 6 major destinations from Anchorage to Valdez. Three days each in Denali National Park and Seward feature glacier walks, wildlife cruises, and nights at remote locations like Maclaren River Lodge's Glacier Camp.

- Days 1-4
Anchorage & Seward
Your Alaska adventure begins in Anchorage, where summer brings 18-20 hours of daylight and pleasant temperatures of 58-77°F. Take a 2.5-hour drive to Seward on day 2. "Watching the calving glaciers in Kenai Fjords was mind-blowing - bring a warm jacket even in summer as the wind off the water gets chilly," notes a recent visitor. Take two days to explore Exit Glacier. If you're up for it, tackle the full 8.2-mile Harding Icefield trail, or choose shorter viewpoint hikes. Look out for black bears snacking on berries near the trail.

- Days 5-7
Homer & Adventure Camp
- Days 8-9
Hope & Anchorage
- Days 10-12
Denali National Park
A must-see on any Alaska trip. Take an early morning park shuttle into the wilderness for the best wildlife viewing. "Layer up - temperatures can swing 30 degrees in a day. The mosquitoes are fierce in summer so bring repellent," suggests one traveler. Book a flightseeing tour around Mt. Denali if weather allows.

Maclaren River Lodge
- Days 15-17
Wrangell-St. Elias National Park

What people love about 3-week USA tours
- Alaska Adventure - 20 Days
I always thought traveling in small groups wasn’t my thing, but traveling with Infinite, I loved having people of all kinds of interests to hang out with. There was always someone who wanted to do what I wanted. Food was very diverse and equipment was top notch.
- Highlights of Route 66
Very informative with Tour Director’s wealth of information about the whole Tour. Well done John!!
- Exploring America's Great Parks
This tour was amazing, even better than anticipated. The coach was brand new and very comfortable. Mike, our driver was EXCELLENT. I have a fear of heights (yeah, I know, great tour to book in the mountains) but his skill let me relax and even look out the windows. Our guide Shawn was a wealth of great information, and made the extra effort to show us things that others may have missed. The accommodations were first class every night, but varied between the rustic Old Faithful Yellowstone Inn to the urban high rises. All breakfasts were included which was nice. All luggage was taken care of by staff on site. We could not have done this tour independently with the accommodations, meals, passes, and experience for the amount spent. We would HIGHLY recommend this tour as the most bang-for-your-buck tour of the National Parks.
