Should I stick to one country or see both Croatia and Slovenia?

There's also kotlovina a really hearty meat stew they cook in traditional cauldrons. Over in Slovenia make sure you taste kremsnita especially at Lake Bled where this creamy custard dessert is iconic and don't miss jota a warming stew with sauerkraut and beans.
