This 25-day trip takes you through five Southeast Asian countries, starting at Kunming's Green Lake Park and finishing at Singapore's Clarke Quay. You'll photograph longtail boats navigating Baan Bor Tor's mangrove bays with karst formations, then see Georgetown's Peranakan shophouses and colonial architecture. The trip also includes Jinghong's Starlight Market beneath the Golden Pagoda and Singapore's modern skyline.

Travel from Seminyak's beach town to the cultural heart of Ubud, checking out markets, temples, and the Sacred Monkey Forest sanctuary. Island-hop through the three Gili Islands by private boat, snorkeling in rainbow-colored reefs teeming with tropical fish and sea turtles. Cruise by fast ferry to Nusa Lembongan, where you'll snorkel with manta rays and try stand-up paddleboarding in turquoise waters.

You'll photograph the Tak Bat ceremony at dawn in Luang Prabang, where monks in saffron robes receive alms along quiet streets, then capture Angkor Wat's intricate carvings and Ta Prohm's vine-covered stones before framing Bayon Temple's smiling towers. There's also traditional Khmu blacksmithing to document in Nam Song River villages and the River of a Thousand Lingas at Phnom Kulen.

You'll document the UNESCO-listed Angkor Wat temple complex, built by King Suryavarman II in the 12th century and featuring nearly 2,000 intricately carved Apsara figures across its sandstone walls. The South Gate of Angkor Thom and Terrace of Elephants offer great photo opportunities, and Ta Prohm temple is preserved in its original jungle-covered state for authentic shots. Life on Tonle Sap Lake, Southeast Asia's largest freshwater lake, is fascinating to capture as floating villages move seasonally across the water.

Kayak through Lan Ha Bay near Cat Ba island, weaving between limestone karsts and hidden lagoons with stops at quiet beaches. Tour Trung Trang Cave, which served as a hospital during the Vietnam War, then hike up to Ngu Lam Peak for island views. Later, pick tea with farmers in Hoang Su Phi and see the emerald terraces from Hoang Su Phi Bungalow.

Trek 5-15 kilometers through Northern Thailand's mountains with mahouts to track wild elephants in dense forest and watch them in their natural habitat. Cycle through UNESCO-listed Sukhothai Historical Park on traffic-free paths past restored temples from Thailand's former capital.
