Great week tour of the Balkans! Our guide Ana was fantastic and an amazing driver also. We learned a lot, had comfortable 3 star lodgings that seemed deluxe in some cases. The only thing to take note of is that there is a lot of driving as the distance between locations is not close and also some border crossings can take a long time to cross. Both of these points being out of control of the tour operator. A note to Tour Radar. In your description there are places which indicate that breakfast, lunch and dinner are included. You should change this to just breakfast to have everything aline in your document.

Alain was our tour guide and he sets the bar high for future guided tours - the Aurora tour was perfectly planned and he had everything prepared for every day which made it so easy for us to enjoy every moment of our trip stress free and without any worry, many thanks to Alain for a wonderful experience in Finland. I think our favorite part of the tour was the Husky Safari and the Glass Igloo. Playing with the husky dogs and later seeing the northern lights was spectacular! While at the the Scandic hotel, everything was clean and comfortable, the restaurant served a great breakfast, and staff were helpful and friendly. I absolutely recommend this tour and look forward to our next adventure in Finland!

Overall the tour was good. we paid to update our room as we wanted a view of the river. The hotel was very good, meals were excellent. We booked an ENGLISH speaking tour. Aurora our guide did speak english but because there were 34 of the 36 people in our group did not. there were 18 spanish and 17 french speaking only! So had no opportunity to converse with others on our tour. At times we felt left out and lonely. we were very disappointed with this aspect of the tour. Especially when it came to instructions with snow mobile, didn't get to hear any english, so my confidence was low and ended up stopping after a short while , and not driving snow mobile, but got in sleigh pulled by Instructor. The husky and reindeer rides were fantastic , the highlight of our trip. The farms were interesting and well kept. The 5 hrs dropped off at Santa Village was too long . we ended up finding our bus and sitting there for an hour or so. Would have nice to be given option of a shorted time. The thermal clothing at Safartica was poor. The items were very used and not at all comfortable. I only ended up using the overalls, and my own boots, balaclava, socks, scarf and mittens. I would not recommend them. Over all we had a great time , but unsure if we would recommend the tour with others.

What our customers ask about Ski, Snowboard & Snow Tours & Trips in Europe
When is the peak season for ski and snowboard tours in Europe?
The best snow conditions in Europe fall between December and March. January and February are the most reliable months for snow quality. Bansko in Bulgaria operates 28 days in February while Finnish Lapland's season stretches into April. The weather varies by region and altitude. A TourRadar traveler shared about their March trip to Morzine France: "Had really good weather just don't forget your suncream - I got burned pretty bad but it was definitely worth it."
What are some of the best ski resorts included in European ski tours?
The top European ski destinations range from St. Anton Austria with its challenging slopes and lively après-ski to Italy's Dolomites where the Sellaronda circuit connects 40km of runs. Germany's Garmisch-Partenkirchen provides access to Zugspitze the country's highest peak. Lodging options span from upscale Camp Ripan in Swedish Lapland to convenient ski-in/ski-out Hotel Lappland in Lycksele. A TourRadar traveler noted: "The Three Country Ski Tour was incredible - skiing Austria Germany and Italy with short lift lines and daily passes under €65 made it exceptional value."
How much should I budget for a European ski holiday?
A 7-10 day European ski trip typically costs between USD 2000-5000 per person including lodging most meals and basic equipment. Daily lift passes average USD 65 with additional costs for optional activities and personal expenses. Price examples range from USD 4944 for the 10-day Three Country Tour through Austria Germany and Italy to USD 15970 for a premium 6-day package in Norway's Voss.
What unique winter experiences are offered besides skiing and snowboarding?
Nordic regions lead the way in distinctive winter activities. Finnish Lapland offers husky sledding ice fishing reindeer farm visits and Northern Lights viewing. Sweden's ICEHOTEL in Jukkasjärvi features ice sculpting classes and overnight stays in rooms built entirely of ice. A TourRadar traveler shared: "The combination of skiing husky sledding and Northern Lights made for an unforgettable arctic adventure."
What kind of accommodations can I expect on European ski tours?
The range spans from upscale hotels to traditional chalets. Morzine France features Alpine properties like Chalet Skade equipped with saunas and hot tubs.
