10 Day Hawaii Itinerary, incl. Oahu and Maui
Immerse yourself in Pearl Harbor Memorial, Haleakala National Park, and UNESCO-listed volcanoes. The route covers 11 destinations including Honolulu, Kahului, and Kailua-Kona, featuring luxury accommodations, traditional luaus at Wailele, and Farm-to-Table dining at Hali'imaile Store.

- Days 1-3
Oahu
Your Hawaiian adventure begins in Honolulu with a traditional lei greeting at the airport. Plan to visit Pearl Harbor on your first full day before 8:30 AM to avoid crowds and jet lag. Entry tickets are limited and sell out quickly. The drive to the North Shore takes about 1.5 hours from Waikiki. Visit Haleiwa town between 2-4 PM when surf crowds are smaller. If you're visiting in winter (November-April), you'll see impressive 20-30 foot waves at spots like Waimea Bay. Great for photos but stick to watching from the beach.

- Days 4-6
Maui
A quick 30-minute flight takes you to Kahului, Maui. Start at Iao Valley State Park in the early morning before clouds cover the Iao Needle. Bring sturdy shoes since the trails get slippery after rain. One visitor noted: "The upcountry pineapple farm tour was fascinating - try the fresh Maui Gold pineapple, it's sweeter than any I've had before." Want to catch the famous Haleakala sunrise? Be ready to leave by 3 AM and dress warmly. The summit hits around 40°F (4°C) and feels even colder with wind. Not an early riser? Book an afternoon snorkel trip to Lanai instead. The waters are calmest between 1-3 PM.

- Days 7-10
Big Island
From Maui, take a 45-minute flight to Kona. You'll find the Kona coffee region at 1,500-2,000 feet elevation. Pack a light jacket for cool morning tours. Plan a full day for Volcanoes National Park since it's a 2.5-hour drive each way from Kona. Take Crater Rim Drive for the best volcanic views but check current conditions online first. On your last day, give yourself 2 hours at Kona Airport for departure. The airport is smaller than Honolulu's but rental car returns can get busy. Book an afternoon flight if possible to squeeze in some final beach time.

10 Days in Hawaii, incl. Oahu and Maui
Three islands unfold across O'ahu, Big Island, and Maui on this captivating tour. Highlights include USS Arizona Memorial, Kilauea volcano, and Iao Valley's 2,000-foot needle. Luxurious stays await at Prince Waikiki, Outrigger Kona Resort, and Sheraton Maui Resort.

- Days 1-3
Oahu
Your Hawaiian adventure begins in Honolulu. Visit Pearl Harbor first thing in the morning before 8 AM to avoid crowds and heat. The USS Arizona Memorial tour takes about 75 minutes. Remember to leave large bags at your hotel since they aren't allowed at the memorial. "Getting to Pearl Harbor early was key - we arrived by 7:30 AM and had a much more peaceful experience before the crowds picked up around 9." Explore historic downtown Honolulu and visit Iolani Palace. "Book the guided tour instead of self-guided - the docents share incredible stories about the royal family that aren't in the displays." End your day at the Pali Lookout for beautiful views but bring a light jacket for the strong winds.

- Days 4-6
Big Island
A quick 45-minute flight takes you from Honolulu to Hilo. Start at Rainbow Falls in the morning to see the sun create rainbows in the mist. When visiting Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, wear sturdy closed-toe shoes with good grip on the sharp volcanic terrain. "The steam vents can be really hot and sulfuric - stay upwind and don't get too close." Visit Kona's coffee farms in the morning before it gets too hot. Bay View Farm offers an excellent tour with exclusive private reserve samples. Head to Honaunau Bay between 1-3 PM when the water is calmest for the best snorkeling.

- Days 7-10
Maui
Base yourself in the Kaanapali Beach area. If you're doing the Road to Hana, leave by 7 AM to avoid tour buses. The road has 620 curves and 59 bridges, so pack motion sickness medication. "We thought we'd do it ourselves but were so glad we took a guided tour - the driver knew exactly where to stop and when to avoid the crowds." Visit Iao Valley in the morning since afternoons often bring rain. For Kaanapali Beach activities, plan on mornings when the water is calmer. The surf usually picks up after 2 PM.

What people love about 10-day Hawaii tours
- Best of the Hawaiian Islands
We loved the tour! The hotels/resorts overall were good. We didn’t always get the best view & some of the meals were not great. The Outrigger, in Honolulu, was very nice! Good food, nice room, but we did not have an ocean view. We found out from some of our tour guests, that we could have upgraded, to an ocean view. We were never informed of this! Pearl Harbor was great, however, I wish the tour included the Missouri. Both my husband & I could have spent more time there. Our best accommodation was at the Outrigger, on the Big Island, however the meals (including the Luau) left a lot to be desired. Our room was perfect, along with the pool. Convenient to eat offsite!!! The Volcano National Park tour was perfect!!! My favorite tour! We loved Maui, however our ocean view was ground level, & could not view the pool, or beach, because the cabanas blocked the view. Strange bathroom layout! We like a dressing/vanity area separate from the shower & commode. Food at the Sheraton was excellent!!!, along with other choice restaurants to choose from! Our tour directer, Lisa Beardsley was the best!!!..so kind, knowledgeable & fun to be with!!! She truly went above & beyond to cater to everyone’s needs! The arrangements, island hopping, check-ins, excursion meeting times…All over planning was excellent! Thank you Tour Radar & Globus for a memorable experience!
- Aloha Hawaii Discovering Kauai and Maui (Lihue, HI to Maui, HI) (2026)
Overall tour was good. One if the three Hotels chosen by Collete was sub par. No restaurant was open, only one cafeteria and place was mostly empty. I believe Hotel owners gave Collete a sweet deal to bring its business here which outweighs giving its customer the best possible Hotel experience. We also had our tour guide pull a quick one on us before our flight from Honolulu to another island. The group was told that everyone would be charged an extra 50 bucks to transport our luggage which would speed up the days travel. I believe everyone paid this, we did really didn't have a choice. Had scam written all over this. Extra 2 grand in tour guides pocket. Collette mgmt..if you read this you may want to look into this. Cory was your guides name.
