7-Day Grand Canyon Tour Packages
Ready to experience one of Earth's greatest natural wonders beyond a quick rim photo? Grand Canyon for an entire week means doing it properly. Rim-to-rim hike if you're fit, or shorter trails like Bright Angel. Rafting the Colorado River through the canyon takes multiple days, but it’s worthwhile. Watch sunrise and sunset from different viewpoints, including Hopi Point, Yaki Point, and Desert View.

7 Days in American Southwest, incl. Grand Canyon and Monument Valley
This week-long trip visits 6 Arizona locations and kicks off with hikes at South Kaibab Trail plus a full day down to Plateau Point. Later you'll see Horseshoe Bend's curves, walk through Antelope Canyon X's carved sandstone passages, and tour Monument Valley's famous buttes with Navajo guides before checking out cliff dwellings at Canyon de Chelly.

- Day 1
Las Vegas to Grand Canyon National Park
Leave Las Vegas by 7 AM for your 5-hour drive through the Mojave Desert to the Grand Canyon. Skip the crowded Mather Point and go straight to South Kaibab Trail. The afternoon hike to Ooh Aah Point is a moderate 1.8-mile round trip with incredible views. Bring extra water since there's no shade, and be ready for the 7,000-foot elevation to slow you down. Spend the night in Tusayan, just 10 minutes from the South Rim.

- Day 2
Grand Canyon Full-Day Hike
Take on the Plateau Point hike on Bright Angel Trail. Start before sunrise (around 5:30 AM in summer) to beat the heat. It's a challenging 12-mile round trip with a 3,000-foot descent. Stop at Indian Garden halfway down to refill water and rest in the shade. The last stretch to Plateau Point rewards you with amazing views of the Colorado River.

- Day 3
Page and Antelope Canyon
Drive 4 hours to Page and make a quick stop at the historic Navajo Bridge over the Colorado River. Visit Horseshoe Bend early or late in the day for better photos and smaller crowds. For Antelope Canyon X, bring a jacket since it stays cool inside and watch for falling sand. You'll get more time for photos here than in Upper Antelope Canyon, with fewer people around.

- Day 4
Monument Valley
Start at Navajo National Monument to see the cliff dwellings before it gets hot. In Monument Valley, take an afternoon Jeep tour but sit up front if you have back problems since the roads are rough. Stay for the traditional Navajo dinner under the stars. Overnight in Kayenta positions you well for tomorrow.

- Day 5
Canyon de Chelly
After a 3-hour drive to Canyon de Chelly, join a ranger-led tour (book ahead). Morning light works best for photographing the ancient petroglyphs. A recent visitor shared: "The White House Trail descent is steep but manageable—bring hiking poles and wear shoes with good grip, especially if it has rained recently."

- Day 6
Volcanic Wonders and Flagstaff
- Day 7
Route 66 to Las Vegas
What people love about 7-day Grand Canyon tours
- Enchanting Canyonlands (Classic)
This was my very first Insight Vacations journey, and I was impressed from the start. The beauty of the iconic American Canyonlands is breathtaking, and this dream journey visits The Grand Canyon, Monument National Park, Bryce Canyon and Zion. We stayed at lodges right in the National Parks. I was one of several who travelled solo on this trip, and we did not feel at all out of place. Roger, our Travel Director, was terrific. Roger got to know everyone on the journey, and made sure all of us were having the very best vacation. The families that were also on the trip looked like they had the time of their lives. Great fun for everyone!
- Highlights of the Canyonlands
Excellent staff- had a great time!
- Las Vegas and Western Deserts – 4 days
Our tour guides, Roberto and Pascuale, were both great. I highly recommend this tour to everyone!
