What people love about Private Tours in Northern Thailand
- Private - Journeys From Bangkok To Northern Thailand 10 Days 9 Nights
It was a splendid tour! we booked 3 star hotels, all of them were comfortable and good. The tour guide Bass was really good for the Bangkok part. The tour guide Nok was outstanding and excellent for the Northern part. During thr Booking and operational stuff Praew was also so rrspinsive, friendly and we felt being in good hands throughout our stay! We would definitely book witg tge operator again!!!
- Chiang Mai Ultimate Local And Cultural Experience (Private And All-Inclusive)
Overall a good experience, if somewhat light on organized activities. This part of Thailand is mostly temples and there were plenty on this tour, and lots of beautiful sights to see. One day was spent in a local village house and farm learning local customs and eating a local meal, which was lovely. The other two days were a loose collection of experiences with local temples including a visit to neighboring Lamphun province. Curiously, we never were taken to see local Chang Mai sights and left to do this on our own. Our guide M was very nice and accommodating, but we would've appreciated more historical context for what we were seeing. Sites tended to run together and get confusing because we had little historical context. Often it seemed like things were proceeding on the fly without much planning. While we appreciated the free time for exploration that this led to, we would've ideally liked more organization. Hotel was absolutely beautiful.
- Marvelous Thailand In 10 Days - Private Tour
The tours that were included were very good, but spending 3 1/2 to 4 hours in a van each way to see the Black House & White Castle is not good planning. All the tour and airport transfers were very timely and well communicated by the tour operator. The floating market/train market tour and the elephant sanctuary tour were excellent! The Black house/White Castle tour was very good but 7 to 8 hours in a van to see them is very poor planning. I highly recommend the James Bond island tour in Phuket. The extra charge for the Bangkok to Chang Mai and Chang Mai to Phuket airfares are a rip off as they should have been 50 per cent or less than charged $500. Our Phuket to Bangkok airfares were less than $100 that we booked ourselves. Our tour operator was great in communications with me through WhatsApp and would like to work with him again in future tours.
