Istria Tours & Trips
Ever heard of Istria? This Croatian peninsula between Venice and Slovenia gets overlooked, but it’s time to explore! Picture coastal towns like Rovinj, Poreč, and Pula, truffle hunting inland, wine tasting, and spotting Venetian architecture everywhere. Istria beats the Dalmatian Coast for fewer crowds and food focus, and you’ll see Croatian-Italian influences mixed uniquely. If you’re a food fan, add Istria to your list.

Chiavalon olive oil tasting was delicious!Never knew olive oil could be this complex! Brought bottles home. Cycling through their groves afterwards connected the experience.Rovinj old town is amazing and sea is beautiful!
Istrian Odyssey: A Luxury Culinary Cycling Expedition Through Croatia’s Gourmet Peninsulawe really loved what we saw of Istria, very green countryside , old villages, vineyards, olive trees and beautiful blue sea! The bikes were excellent and comfortable. The maps and tour information was also excellent. It did have more hills than we expected [ we live in a very flat part of the world] and also roads without cycle paths some of which had a lot of traffic. if we did this trip again we would go for electric bikes.
Cycle the wine roads of IstriaOur tour of Istria was quite amazing! Tour Radar and Fiore provided amazing support from start to finish. They spent time with us to get the bike fit right. They communicated and met us on time and with amazingly detailed cue sheets. The staff was super friendly, supportive and totally interested in our having the best experience. The accommodations were first rate. Food was also excellent. We've done a lot of organized bike tours, but this was our first self-guided tour....we'd do it again in a heartbeat!
