The hiking options around Lofoten take you right into where Arctic fjords meet mountain peaks. Starting from Tromsø, one of our most sought-after walks leads up Fløya - it's a nice 10km trail with 600m of climbing that lets you watch Hurtigruten ships glide through the fjords below. The pace is moderate, so there's plenty of time to take in those ocean-to-peak views. If you're after something a bit different, the Skulsfjord area has an 8km route up Guratind that's more challenging but rewards you with fantastic sea views away from the busy spots.
