What a magical Safari adventure! This tour packs it in! 2 days on the Masai Mara, 2 days in the Serengeti, a drive into the Ngorongoro Crater, plus cultural visits to a Masai village and other indigenous tribes. The overnight in the Serengeti tented camp was superb, offering a very comfortable yet immersive experience. We saw so much wildlife and many of the animals were within close range—elephants and giraffes crossing the road in front of us and lions walking next to the jeep! Our guide, Darlene, was exceptional —knowledgeable, caring, and fun-loving and our four drivers were incredible too —they know the parks so well and were a wealth of information. All our accommodations were terrific, meals were plentiful, and included activities were fun. This is an amazing trip!!!!

This was a brilliant tour. All of our guides were very knowledgable, and our driver Raju was always on time, professional and helpful. As a group of 3 girls we felt safe at all times. Highlights were seeing the Taj at sunrise and a tiger in Ranthambore!

When is the best time to go on a 10-day safari?
For the best wildlife viewing, plan your trip between June and October during the dry season. The Serengeti migration peaks from July to September. You can expect daytime temperatures around 75°F (24°C) and nights around 50°F (10°C). Pack some warm layers - the Ngorongoro Crater gets quite chilly in the early mornings, sometimes dropping to 41°F (5°C).
What wildlife will I see during my safari?
You'll likely spot the "Big Five" - lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffalo - plus countless other animals. During migration season, the Serengeti and Masai Mara fill with huge herds of wildebeest and zebras. The wildlife viewing exceeded all our expectations."
How long are the daily game drives?
You'll spend about 4-6 hours per day looking for wildlife, usually split between early morning and late afternoon when animals are most active. Morning drives start around 6:30 AM, and afternoon drives begin about 3:30 PM and go until sunset. Some places, like Mara Sopa Lodge, also offer night drives where you can spot nocturnal animals.
