10 Day Greece Itinerary, incl. Athens and Santorini
Three iconic destinations showcase Greece's highlights: Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini. Visit the Acropolis Museum, Paraportiani church, and ancient Akrotiri. Includes 3-4 star hotels, daily breakfast, and three guided tours rated 4.7/5 by 100+ travelers.

- Day 1
Athens Arrival
A private transfer will meet you at Athens International Airport. Try to book afternoon flights to avoid morning traffic in Athens. Your first evening is perfect for exploring Monastiraki Square near many central hotels. "Our hotel in Athens was near Monastiraki square with a nice view of the Acropolis - perfect for that first evening stroll."

- Day 2
Athens Exploration
Start your day early with a guided tour of the Acropolis and its museum at 8:30 AM before crowds and heat build up. The 5-hour tour includes stops at the Panathenaic Stadium and Temple of Zeus. Make sure to wear sturdy shoes since marble steps can be slippery. Your afternoon is free to explore the charming Plaka district.

- Day 3
Athens to Mykonos
- Days 4-5
Mykonos
Take a guided tour of Mykonos town in the evening to see Little Venice and the windmills. "Watching sunset from Little Venice while sipping a cocktail was magical - but get there early to snag a good spot." Use your second day to visit the beaches. Skip crowded Paradise Beach and try the quieter Agios Sostis instead.

- Days 6-8
Santorini
Take a 2.5-hour high-speed ferry to Santorini. You'll enjoy a 6-hour semi-private island tour including the Akrotiri archaeological site, wine tasting and traditional lunch. "The Santorini wine tour was incredible - learning about volcanic soil's influence on the grapes while overlooking the caldera was unforgettable." The Fira to Oia hike (10km) is best done early morning. Bring plenty of water and sun protection since there's little shade. Make time to watch Oia's famous sunset but arrive 1-2 hours early for a good spot.

- Day 9
Santorini to Athens
- Day 10
Departure
10 Day Greek Islands Itinerary, incl. Santorini and Mykonos
A maritime adventure visits 8 distinct Greek islands, from Santorini to Mykonos. Visit Homer's tomb on Ios, Naxos' Temple of Dimitra, and Paros' Venetian ruins. Live aboard a 57-foot yacht with daily stops for swimming, snorkeling, and authentic Greek dining.

- Day 1
Santorini
- Days 2-4
Ios, Small Cyclades & Naxos
Sail to Ios (4-5 hours). Spend your afternoon at Manganari Beach but bring water shoes since the sand gets hot. The Small Cyclades offer quiet coves for swimming on Day 3. Visit the Temple of Dimitra on Naxos in the early morning to beat the heat. A past visitor shares: "The local microbrewery tour in Naxos was a highlight - much better than expected and a great way to escape the midday sun."

- Day 5
Mykonos
- Days 6-7
Syros & Paros
- Days 8-9
Sifnos & Folegandros
- Day 10
Return to Santorini
Sail back to Marina Vlychada. Book extra nights in Santorini since arrival times can vary. Plan flights after 2 PM.
Sailing Greece - Mykonos to Mykonos
The Cycladic islands reveal their charm across 7 stops, including Mykonos' windmills and Santorini's caldera. Marvel at Venetian ruins in Paros, stand at Homer's tomb on Ios, and sample local microbreweries in Naxos. A perfect blend of cultural sites and hidden coves.

- Athens, Santorini & Mykonos with 3 Guided Tours | SemiPrivate | 10 Days
My only complaint is that no one literally carried me to my hotel!! What a fabulous time. I've never done a tour before and it was everything and more. Transportation went without a hitch, hotels were amazing and well located and the tours provided you with a taste of the area. The people that the tour company provided in each locale were extremely helpful and easily accessible. Having down time allowed for exploring on your own and chilling on some amazing beaches. One of the best trips I've taken in a long time. I highly recommed this operator!

Wonderful trip with wonderful crew!
- Sailing Greece - Mykonos to Mykonos
Overall it was a good trip. I was expecting to sail, a lot. The boat was good, but the sails were not in great shape resulting in tearing of the genoa on our very first tack. I was very disappointed that there was no spare sail available, but completely understood it would have been next to impossible to take the torn sail off the furler due to high winds. I especially loved the nights we were at anchor. Our skipper was an excellent sailor, however wasn't great at explaining things to people on the boat. I was the only other person on the boat who knew how to sail, so frequently had to explain how to do things and what would be happening.
