Communications with Odil of Steppe Journeys before we made our booking was excellent. All queries were answered promptly and in detail. Once our tour began contact with SJ’s continued but with other staff members. In each city of each country tour guides and drivers were amazing. The guides were very knowledgeable, warm and friendly. Contact details of the guides and drivers were given in advance and they always contacted us via WhatsApp prior to our arrival. They were always on time and all expectations were met. Border crossings went smoothly with drop off and picks ups. Again we were always met by our guides and drivers once we crossed over the border. Our overall tour of The Stans was truly an unforgettable experience!! Booking with a local tour company is definitely the way to go. The insights gained by being guided by and sharing your time with the locals is second to none!!
