Landsby was extremely well organised, providing us a very detailed itinerary of our tour. They were very prompt with their communication and replies, and assisted well with all our queries. There was an issue with some dates that didn't work for us, but Landsby were super accommodating and moved things around to allow us to do the tour on the dates that worked for us. All the activities they organised were great, and in support with very good companies and tour guides that made the whole experience unforgettable. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see the Northern lights and have an unforgettable, intimate time in Yukon. We loved our experience very much.

The whole experience was magical! Who gets to dog sled, ice fish, snowmobile, take an airplane ride over the Yukon, go to the Yukon Wild Animal Park, get an intimate tour to learn the history of Whitehorse, go to the hot springs & see the wonder of the Northern Lights. The guides are top notch and the drivers are very knowledgeable so if you have questions just ask them. I used Yelp to figure out the best places to eat and it was spot on. All in all an experience I will treasure forever. Someone said, "Travel Is the Only Thing You Buy That Makes You Richer". So true!

What our customers ask about Northern Lights Tours in Canada
When is the best time to see the Northern Lights in Canada?
The Northern Lights in Canada are most visible from late August to mid-April with December through March offering the clearest views. Cities like Whitehorse and Yellowknife serve as primary viewing bases where specialized locations such as the AuroraCentre position visitors away from urban light pollution. This is a wonderful way to give yourself the best chance of seeing the Northern Lights."
What are the most popular locations for viewing Northern Lights in Canada?
Whitehorse in Yukon Territory and Yellowknife in Northwest Territories stand out as key viewing destinations. Each area features dedicated facilities like the AuroraCentre and Aurora Basecamp. Marsh Lake located 35 minutes from Whitehorse offers clear lakefront views while Kluane National Park provides a more remote setting. A TourRadar traveler noted: "The locale for seeing the Aurora Borealis was very good with only an occasional interruption by a vehicle on the nearby highway."
What accommodation options are available on Northern Lights tours in Canada?

Properties such as the lakefront lodge on Marsh Lake and Nova Inn in Yellowknife are strategically placed for aurora viewing. What should I pack for a Northern Lights tour in Canada?
Pack layered clothing with thermal base layers insulated winter boots gloves and a winter hat. Photographers need a tripod and camera with manual settings for night shots. While tours at places like Whitehorse's AuroraCentre provide hot drinks pack extra warm layers.
