We enjoyed all the stops and side excursions. Our Tour Director, Caroline Van Der Meer was very knowledgeable and took very good care of us. Some suggestions: If you have an extra day, before or after the tour, take a day trip to Mechelen. A British colleague suggested it and we were favorably impressed. The Cathedral to St. Rumbold is as beautiful as any in Florence Italy. The trip to Trier was very interesting as well and the local guide there was very good as well. We enjoyed Waterloo but some may not feel it is worth the travel. It felt a lot like Gettysburg and there were many similarities in the battles. All in all a very good trip.

I am really satisfied with their attitude and approach towards their customers and make sure the execution goes well. Thank you once again.

Best time to visit Belgium and Netherlands
- Summer 2026
Summer trips through Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg offer a perfect mix of culture and outdoor discovery. Our most popular multi-day journeys take you from Amsterdam's Rijksmuseum, where you'll find masterpieces like Rembrandt's Night Watch, to peaceful canal cruises and walks in medieval centers. These thoughtfully crafted routes blend urban exploration with countryside experiences - you might start your day in the museum district, then head to Volendam's harbor for fresh seafood and local cheese sampling. When visiting Luxembourg, travelers explore the American Cemetery Memorial and walk through the serene Alzette river gorge. The itineraries strike a nice balance between guided portions, such as discovering Brussels' Grand Place, and independent time for finding hidden cafes and local spots. Longer tours include hands-on activities like chocolate workshops in Brussels, visits to authentic Trappist breweries, and also guided walks through Bruges' medieval quarter. Summer's mild temperatures and long daylight hours make these experiences particularly enjoyable, with plenty of time to absorb both cultural landmarks and local life.

- Fall / Autumn 2026
Fall is perfect for cultural deep-dives and local food experiences between Brussels, Amsterdam and also Paris. Our travelers tell us autumn brings the right mood for food experiences - you can join chocolate workshops in Brussels, try Trappist beers at Maredsous Abbey and visit cheese makers in Volendam without fighting summer crowds. The mild weather makes walking tours really comfortable, whether you're exploring Ghent's medieval streets or checking out Rotterdam's modern harbor area. Fall tours excel at combining countryside charm in places like Zaanse Schans with city culture in Amsterdam, where museum visits feel just right as temperatures start to drop.

- Winter 2026 / 2027
Winter tours between Amsterdam and Paris offer something special in the quieter season. Our customers love how Bruges transforms during winter - the medieval streets look different in the crisp winter light. Multi-day trips blend Amsterdam's indoor spots like the Rijksmuseum with warm stops at Belgian chocolate makers and local cafes. The routes are smart about managing winter weather - you'll head to Zaanse Schans windmills and Volendam's harbor when it's clear, then switch to museums and workshops if things turn wet. What makes these winter tours work is how they adjust the schedule based on conditions, especially for outdoor activities like walking Montmartre or taking Seine cruises.

- Spring 2027
Spring is when the Netherlands really shines, with tulip season bringing color everywhere. The real highlight is Keukenhof Gardens - our guides know exactly when to visit so you'll see millions of flowers across its 32 hectares. The spring tours do a great job mixing cultural experiences like watching cheese being made in Edam with visits to working windmills at Kinderdijk. The river cruises are particularly popular - you unpack once and wake up in places like medieval Ghent, historic Antwerp and also Rotterdam. Spring weather is ideal for mixing walking tours through Luxembourg's Old Town with relaxed canal trips in Amsterdam, Bruges and also Brussels.
