To quote Dickens's "Tale of Two Cities," this tour " was the best of times; it was the worst of times." Our leaders, Tomi and Andro were phenomenol -10/10. The cycling routes, the accommodations, the overall experience were all amazing. On the other hand, the experience with admin leading up to the tour was abysmal. Responses to my questions took days and weeks to arrive; info from both Tour Radar and Intrepid Travel -- when I got answers-- was often wrong or conflicting; several of us were sent to the wrong meet-up hotel, for instance. I was given different pricing for an add on, for another example. It took 3 messages to get one answer. Before the trip started I was frustrated and angry given the poor or absent prep help. Fortunately the tour itself was excellent. Tomi and Andro took every opportunity to ensure our safety and, happiness. I was very impressed with their level of service and attention to detail. They coordinated riding and van support very well, stayed positive and encouraging throughout, remembered each person's requests and accommodated individual needs perfectly. Truly, they were top notch in every way. I ended up loving the tour even more than I anticipated due to Tomi and Andro. I would love to do other trips with Tomi, but I would not deal with the companies again until they clean up their poor service
