We felt safe and secure throughout and it was obvious the tourist sights were heavily policed. We were certainly made to feel welcome where ever we went.
There was so much variety over the 9 days it was so stimulating and exhilarating. The long days were packed with adventures in what was the most foreign land we have experienced compared to our lush green home of New Zealand. The hustle and bustle of the cities was balanced against the quiet scenic cruising along the Nile. Obviously the history dating back Millenia was a feature and this was so well explained by Medhat. He added so much value to the tour and his caring friendly nature endeared him to us and all our group. We couldn’t imagine the tour without him.
The whole organisation made it a stress free experience in a country which could be very challenging I’m sure if trying to negotiate it on our own.
We’d recommend this tour with Expat and Medhat Youseff to anyone looking to experience the wonders of ancient Egypt and get an insight into this vast country with so many people.

Nothing beats going places, exploring ancient ruins & landmarks, and meeting nice people & feeling safe while doing it.
Thank you to Medhat, our guide in Egypt, for his patient, insights, and attentiveness. Our guide for Jordan was a nice & likable fellow.with a very soft spoken voice. He operated in an easygoing style. We appreciated his mild-mannered personality very much.

When we arrived at the CAI airport, we were met by a Timeless tour representative who walked us through everything from getting our Visas and currency exchange to gathering our bags and getting through customs. It was easy and there was no stress after our long flight. I am very appreciative of the assistance that we received.
One of the pros of this tour is that the tour guides are very knowledgeable about the history of Egypt. Of all the attractions that we went to, I feel our group was well guided and given the great history of the temples. Medhat was a tour guide at the beginning of our tour, and I felt he did a great job sharing the history of the places. However close to the end of our tour, we had another tour guide as Medhat had a pressing issue to address personally. There was an issue with an optional excursion regarding our hot air balloon ride in Luxor. Some of our tour mates were not happy with the service and information that was given. Some of the issues that our tour mates expressed were that the operator of our balloon did not go up as high as some of the other balloons and we were the first to land. In the end, we were refunded 600 Egyptian pounds each.
We also had great interactions with the Timeless representatives who helped us get to each destination and excursion.
Regarding the area of opportunities: To be honest, I feel that while on this tour, we were price gauged a lot and to be fair not all the interactions we had were the fault of the tour guides as there were independent merchants who had their own practices and operations. However, I feel that with some interactions, the tour guides led us to be price-gauged. For example, when we were about to board our Nile cruise, we had a stop at a local convenience store. I paid 320 Egyptian pounds (about $10) for 3 cans of 7up soda and a large can of Pringles. I felt scammed as when my aunt and I went to a local grocery store, we paid 10 times less than the prices at the convenience store. There was also another incident when we were in Cairo and we toured the Egyptian Museum, the tour guide advised us of lunch options which were very interesting as it was an option of local tastes, however, I felt scammed by the tour guide as he advised that for the shawarma lunch would cost 300 pounds ($10), however, I don’t feel that that price was true as I went to the restaurant site and did not see prices over 300 pounds unless buying meat by weight and the food that I got did not seem that it would cost that much as well.
Another opportunity for improvement is that I want to share our experience in the markets. My aunt and I love to shop but our experience with some of the merchants was beyond stressful. I am not holding the tour guide responsible for the actions of people; however, my aunt and I were the only two black women on the tour and I have noticed the difference in treatment between us and our tourmates. Some of the merchants were not as aggressive in trying to sell merchandise to our tourmates as they were with us. It got to the point where the merchants were blocking us from getting to our destinations, excursions, getting on the bus, and keeping up with our group and it was disappointing that our tour guides did not intervene. They walked away and left us to deal with the harassment and that was disappointing, because I expected our tour guide to look out for us, and this happened numerous times. There was a time when the hot air balloon guide intervened from us being approached several times and that I was appreciative for.
It also did not seem right that we had our introduction meeting, we paid money into a tipping kitty which is fine as this was mentioned in the tour details, however, I was still surprised that at some of the excursions, tips were still being requested.
The last opportunity for improvement I want to share is that in our group there were different tour packages combined. For example, my aunt and I purchased the Egyptian Highlight tour and some of our tourmates purchased the Egypt and Jordan tour. There were times when there was confusion when information about itineraries was being communicated as our group had different itineraries. Our tour guide did take us aside to clarify the information for our package.
All in all, this tour was good and with more customer service improvements it could be better. Also, I feel that being more forthcoming and upfront with information regarding prices will help to instill more trust in future tour guests.

The best trip I’ve ever taken! We did so much, experienced so many things, and found friends that will be kept forever. Some days were long and hot but so worth it. Medhat, our guide in Egypt, was kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. The Egyptian and Jordanian people were so gracious and welcoming there wasn’t a moment of feeling uncomfortable or unsafe. I would do it again tomorrow if I could! Thank you Timeless tours for the experience of a lifetime!! Don’t hesitate to book with this company.

Fantastic trip, the "Best of Egypt 5 Star" - 10 day trip.
- Definitely recommend the 10 days with 3 nights in Hurghada and 3 nights on the river cruise, the other 8 or 9 day trips are too compact with…Fantastic trip, the "Best of Egypt 5 Star" - 10 day trip.

- Treat yourself to the flight to Aswan and a nice hotel room (excellent hotel option in Aswan, but you are only there for like 10 hours, includes full buffet breakfast). Best night's rest the whole trip.
- Our Timeless Tours guide, Medhat, was excellent, organized and communicated very well. It's difficult to please everyone, he did a great job managing the whole team. I heard from other groups that they wished they had Medhat as their guide.
- The first 5 days are the most tiresome with early starts and longer site-seeing days
- Definitely sign-up for Abu Simbel, this is the best of all the Temple sites and a highlight of the trip. I believe all 19 folks from our crew went to Abu Simbel.
- Philae and KomOmbo temples were brilliant, there's so much to see it gets overwhelming
- The Nubian dinner excursion was only so-so. I was not impressed, I thought it would be more interactive and we were served a pretty meager meal.
- Hot Air Balloon - some teams loved this event. Our "pilot" only took our balloon straight up, held our balloon away from the wind currents, then brought us back down into the original parking lot. Team was very disappointed to not sail across the country side like the other balloons (the balloon vendor was Sinbad, I would avoid them, and due to numerous complaints they refunded $20 USD to everyone). Also, they slam 28 people in each balloon basket!
- Scuba/Snorkel - this is a must! Spend the day at sea with 2.5 hours of snorkel time. Beautiful fish and decent corral.
- Warning - the cold salads on the cruise were super tasty & healthy, many combinations of veggies with roasted eggplant, squash, etc......however, 3 of our crew got sick. We believe it was from one of the salads. I deviated from my rule of eating only cooked veggies and had diarrhea for a day. Stick to the hot veggie casseroles and cooked meats for all buffets (including Hurghada).
- Also on the river cruise.....each room had it's issues. Some had hot water, some only cold water, some no water at all! Air Conditioning varied greatly too.....some rooms were nice and cold, others on the warm side. There's no way to control your room's AC.
- All the cruise water and AC issues really didn't bother me, it is what it is.......you just need to roll with whatever cards you are dealt.
- In Cairo, the Oasis hotel is comfortable and the layout is huge. Most folks just hang at the hotel and eat/drink there (on the expensive side for Egypt). I recommend grabbing an Uber and hitting a local Egyptian restaurant.....a much better experience, great food and cheap. Our Uber cost $1.13 usd! We just googled a good restaurant 2 miles away. There's absolutely nothing within walking distance and the main hotel road is super busy with no sidewalks. Also, don't use the ATM in the lobby as it takes 6% commission, there's an ATM in the hotel parking lot with much better exchange rates (or best get cash at the airport or bank).
- Very easy to grab your Visa at the airport, open 24 hours. The airport contact meets you when you exit the plane with a "Timeless Tours" sign. All communication and transport was excellent.
- I definitely recommend Timeless and would take them again. Excellent guides, service and communication.

Our guide, Medhat, was extremely helpful and friendly, really leaving a mark on us with his professionalism and how great he was! Timeless tours really took care of us, the whole way through! I would definitely recommend to do the Abu Simbel extra as well as the flight option, as it really made our trip great! Also, you do get a chance to do amazing snorkeling for very cheap in the red sea, which was also one of our highlights!

The guides will sit you down and give as much information as they can on …This was a trip of a lifetime, with kind and knowledgeable guides in both Egypt (Medhat & Mena) and Jordan (Jamal & Mohhamed). The guides will sit you down and give as much information as they can on how the trip will progress, and what you can expect from the local culture and customs.
The historic sites are wonderful to behold, but there will be several early starts in order to beat the madding crowds as much as possible. It was fascinating to see what cities and monuments were created in stone by men using simple tools and sheer determination. One can only have respect that these people left behind legacies that have lasted for thousands of years.
The guides all have excellent knowledge and will happily answer any questions you may have. Medhat and I had a discussion about the finer points of the resurrection scenes in Tut-Ankh-Amun's tomb (there are several aspects that make it unique). There is much to see, but not always enough time to fully explore, so additional tours may be required!
The excursion days are jam packed with various visits and so days can be long. Luckily there are several rest days included if required, or you can take extra excursions.... Your choice.
Be aware that the average tourist comes from a much richer country than either Egypt or Jordan, so be prepared to see the contrasting levels of infrastructure (like thousands of properties with no roofs, to gated, walled, patrolled hotel complexes with all mod cons) and also the level of poverty, just in Cairo alone.
Since tourism is a vital source of income, the authorities tend to look after tourists, especially those on guided tours. This means that there are armed guards, police and military checkpoints, especially in Egypt. Do not be alarmed by this as they are there to protect. Jordan is far more relaxed in this respect, but their police will still check up on minibuses to make sure all is well.
There will be bazaars and vendors at just about every site you visit and the vendors can be very brazen and get in your face (this was mainly in Egypt), so stick together with your group as much as possible and only talk to one only when you're sure you want what they have to sell.... Elsewise ignore and carry on forward!
That said, there are also many bone fide places to shop and the guides will take you to proper alabaster works, perfumiers, papyrus (not banana leaf) artists and family run restaurants during the course of the tour.
There are large distances to cover, so be prepared to travel on planes, trains, coaches and boats. Some coach trips were long, but at the price point I thought that the tour operator offered really good value for money. They even upgraded hotels and train journeys to flights for our group for free.
The hotels were good quality for their area (the Movenpick and Hilton hotels in Cairo would be good quality hotels anywhere), so there is a marked variation according to location. For instance in Jordan, due to scarcity, most water is brought up to Amman in the north from Wadi Rum in the south and is delivered by the government to tanks on the roofs of buildings every fortnight. This means that baths usually cannot be run, so expect to not see bathplugs there..... Baths yes, bathplugs no..... It is just one of the measures to control water usage in a very arid country. They're not backward..... They just don't have the geography that allows the sheer amount of wastage that is seen in much of the Western worid. Jordainians have been managing water just fine for their own needs for thousands of years..... A visit to Petra will show you that.
Overall I thought the tour to be well planned and our guides were crucial to preparing, caring and guiding us through their countries. It was obvious that the guides were proud of their ancient heritage and wanted to share that with us. We were treated like one big family and generally everyone associated with the tour tried to make our stay as pleasant, friendly and as memorable as possible.
If you're young, go for everything and absorb it all in, while you still have the energy!
If you're older, take advantage of the rest times and maybe put a second visit in your bucket list to see the other sites.
I would recommend this tour to anyone, so be prepared to have your mind and world expanded!

The boat was a good value. Cabins clean and adequate. The crew very courteous and professional. But overall it was the tour guide Medhat was the best. He treated everyone like 'family'. The only reason this is not 5 stars is that some costs came at a surprise. On the boat, you had to pay for ALL drinks, not just alcohol. Didn't expect this in an 'all inclusive' cruise. So if you had a tea, $2, some coffee $2, soda $2.25. This adds up A LOT! After a few days of cruising and eating, you were hit with a drink bill. And that's without having one drop of alcohol. Hey, Timeless, please fix that, ok? Not cool. If you try to nickel and dime customers for minor items it really turns people off. Also, the same thing happened at a traditional outdoor luncheon. The food was good, but again, hidden drink costs (for soda, juice, coffee and even water). So this 'complementary all inclusive' meal was anything but. Timeless needs to thank Medhat for being a great guide, because without him, the tour would be 3 starts. Full stop.

I can't recommend him enough as he even organized a felucca cruise for an evening so we could go swimming. This was covered by Timeless. The group of 10 people was the right size & we all jelled together really well.
The accommodation was great. The Nile cruise was much more luxurious than we expected.
Hugarda was a bit too package holiday in its setting but even there the manager seemed to click that we didn't want to be around young children & opened up a separate restaurant for us.
Overall this was an unbelievable great experience one I will definitely be recommending to friends & family.

Would also be nice if the Cairo hotel was in a more central area so you can do things at night without needing a 45 minute uber ride. I felt like it was a bit far from the city proper. Other than that though, all was good.
I'd recommend taking the cruise ship instead of the overnight on a felucca. While the felucca was a fun experience, I feel like I missed a few things compared to the others. (Yes, they did try to warn me lol but I still needed the experience.) We really only sailed on the felucca for two hours before it docked for the night. Then I left in the morning rather than sailing any further up. Some additional sailing in the morning would have been better. Though unlike the others, I did get to swim in the Nile. It was cold that early in the morning!

But my trip guide MEDHAT was so amazing that I had to write this. First I would like to say that this review is mostly because our Tour Guide Medhat was AMAZING, truly our guardian angel. We were 2 females Americans traveling to a “third world country” Medhat made sure we weren’t scammed other mistreated. Medhat made us feel comfortable even though we were 2 “gay” females. Yes that is apparently a big deal in the Middle East but not for Medhat, he treated us very well. Anytime, any hour we could ask him for anything. He was honest and true person. Egypt is big on tips and scamming people especially Americans or that’s what it seemed like but not him. He gave me hope in humanity that not everyone is out for our money and trying to scam us, a true son of god. We felt safe! I was sad to say goodbye.
As far as the trip it was great. Our cruise got cancelled which was okay because we took a nice trip on a Felucca. We also got stuck in a full day in Hurahgada because of some rain but our guide kept us updated on everything.

First, we had a really nice, friendly and interesting guide (Medhat) who knows a lot about Egypt history, so he was able to provide meaningful insights during each visit. Moreover, Medhat also showed us the local culture and traditional food during the trip and we were able to do some great restaurants (The Hurghada fish restaurant is a must do if you stop in this city!). Egyptians in general were very kind to us and they seemed happy to see that the tourism was starting again. Hopefully for us thanks to the covid-19 we had the chance to enjoy most of the temples and monuments completely alone.
The transportations were way better than we expected, we were always in a comfortable van so the hours on the road were easy. Just bring a night mask if you do the train option between Cairo and Aswan. The accommodations were quite luxury and clean. The view of the Aswan room was breathtaking!
Thank you Timeless Tours for this unforgettable experience, it was the perfect getaway after this complicated year and I definitely recommend it!

The tour was absolutely fantastic, thanks to Covid-19 we were extremely lucky to experience the splendour of ancient Egypt practically alone by ourselves with not a single line the whole trip. Medhat …The tour was absolutely fantastic, thanks to Covid-19 we were extremely lucky to experience the splendour of ancient Egypt practically alone by ourselves with not a single line the whole trip. Medhat was a really great, friendly and very knowledgeable guide who gave us fantastic insights of each historical site and also took us to some great restaurants on our trip. Egypt on the whole is a very friendly country and everyone was really happy to see the return of tourists after a 6/7 month lapse due to the pandemic. I was especially surprised by the hotels and meals which all exceeded my expectations (the fish restaurant in Hurghada in particular - make sure to go! One of the best restaurants I've been to abroad).
While there are some early morning starts to get to the sights in good time, I never felt too tired as we had ample time to sleep on the coach ride over and while I was somewhat dreading the 12 hour train from Cairo to Aswan, it happened late at night so I managed to get a good sleep and caught up on some reading - the time flew by!
I couldn't recommend this tour enough, thanks for a fun, educational and relaxing holiday Timeless Tours, it was exactly what I needed and something I'm never going to forget. 10/10

When I first saw this tour listed, I really thought the price was too good to be true and was a bit skeptical. Tourradar and Timeless Tours delivered 100%!!! This was truly the trip of a lifetime and will be hard to ever top. We were met at the airport on arrival to Cairo and from that point on we were well taken care of the entire trip. This tour is very active and we went nonstop the entire time, often getting up at 6 am and even days at 3 or 4 am in order to get all the sights in each day; so do be prepared for that but every single day is EPIC. Our guide, Medhat, was extremely skilled and patient in meeting the needs of our diverse group and incredibly knowledgeable on the history of each place we visited. The accommodations are not 4 star North American style but clean, comfortable, and safe. I cannot tell you in this review how wonderful the Nile cruise was, just loved it. Transportation included air and mostly bus, which was also clean and comfortable. My only complaint was no one is allowed to use the bathrooms on the buses and this seemed to hold true for any long haul bus we took in Egypt, so if you have any issues related to toileting this trip is not for you. Meals varied, way way too many buffets but with a large group I understand that service. We went on with a very small group to do a second leg of the tour to Dahab with another guide, Remon. This provided a much needed time to relax and enjoy this incredibly beautiful, unique area. Remon was just amazing and went above and beyond to meet all our requests. Im telling everyone I know to put Egypt on their travel list and to use both Tourradar and Timeless Tours!

Overall, the tour is a gem. Value for money, you see all the great sites, you're taken care of so you can kick back and soak up the amazing country. My only gripes were the amount of people try to sell you trinkets everywhere you go, paying to take photo's after traveling 5000 km to get here, and the bus was a tad small for a tall person like myself, (thank god there was enough empty seats for one to a row). It wasn't too bad on the short legs but the overnight bus and the Abu Simbel / Hurghada legs were painful. I think getting a more purposely build overnight bus for these parts would be better, or take the flight. It's doable in the current bus but it is a painful journey. Our bus driver was a legend though and always had cold water at a good price stocked up for us. Great driver too!
The Hurghada leg of this trip was the least enjoyable for my wife and I, with the extra second day feeling like a waste as you sit by the pool or in your room trying to get a TV channel. Most people in our group were on the 9 day trip and we missed them when they left for Cairo. I think this Hurgada (an almost cheapo version of mikinos) could be replaced with an extra day or two on the Nile river cruise. Speaking of the Nile cruise! That was by far my favorite thing, big spacious room, bar, food, pool... Simply amazing. Top notch service. Watching the banks of the Nile go past while drinking an ice cold Stella was something I won't forget!
Lastly; Medhat. Our tour guide. Medhat was such a charming, knowledgeable, funny, organised and caring man. We all felt special when he would refer to us as his family. Yalla fam-i-ly! will be stuck in my head for years! We always felt safe, he was always organised and I especially enjoyed his knowledge about each of the sites. Kom Ombo especially. He looks after you personally as I can attest to when we spent a little too much at the alabaster factory and didn't have enough for lunch. He was kind enough to lend us money until we got to an atm. He even planned a surprise cake to celebrate our honey moon. Such a legend.
This was such an amazing trip and I can confidently recommend it to anyone interested, and try and get Medhat if you can! I'd also suggest doing the 9 day over the 10 day unless you reaaaaaally like beach resorts with bad wifi.

Our guide, Medhat, was excellent. He spoke very good English, was very professional and friendly, and did a great job answering all my questions about Egyptian history and culture. The itinerary of this trip is jam-packed which allows you to get great value for your money. The transportation and accommodations are also very good; all hotels are clean and nice, and the A/C mini bus is adequate for the long road trips. The food quality is OK. The packed breakfasts are nothing special, but you'll always have enough to eat. Otherwise, the restaruants they take you to are authentic and good. Definitely opt to do the overnight Felucca cruise up the Nile in Aswan and the Nubian dinner. Both unforgettable experiences. Overall, it's great guided tour - I felt very safe, met cool people, learned a ton, and took a bunch of epic photos.

Everything was old and run down and the housekeeping was non-existent. The other hotels were four out of five star worthy. For the price and the content of this trip I would highly recommend it. If you want a bit more luxury or leisurely pace I am sure you can find a higher priced tour but honestly this was a deal of life time.

If you want to see many temples and tombs,fly in balloon over the Valley of the Kings , visit a lot of historical Egyptian sites, diving or snorkeling in Hurgada and Dahab ,walking hard in Petra and Wadi Rum and many things more , it’s perfect for you , but go prepared to wake up early almost every day , because it’s a lot of activity in just a couple of weeks.

I really liked the way he collected all of the money for the entrance fees as well as tips on the front end. This made things run very smoothly and we didn't have to be thinking about how much money we needed each day. The accommodations were older but still clean, nice, well appointed, with great staff. The internet at the Oasis was spotty, but Medhat was able to secure a sim card for internet for us which saved the day. The meals that were included were excellent and there was a variety of selections every day. The last day was long. There was too much time on the bus with too little time in the museum and in the bazaar. The bus was filled to capacity on the longest ride which was not as comfortable as previously.

Two hrs at the museum and two hrs to shop, should be more time at the museum. Guide said we would be at the perfume shop 20 min. it was about 1 1/2 hours. The Tipping Kitty is a joke, it just means we have to tip two times, all the bellhopps and other people that help us still expect a tip. They make you feel uncomfortable if you don't tip, and don't even seem, to know about the Tipping Kitty. How can you possible get a tip to everyone in the hotel and on the boat that helped us? You need to get rid of this extra charge! The man that met us at the airport was efficient at getting us past the check points but was not friendly or welcoming. We had just spent a week in Jordan, the guides there all are so friendly and seem to genuinely want us there. In Egypt it seems like it is just their job to put up with tourist.

Accommodation was very nice, and we visited all of the major sites in Egypt. It is a very fast paced tour, so I'd suggest taking the option for an extra day in Hurghada at the end for a bit of relaxation. Even though we arrived the day after the terrorist attack on the pyramids, we all felt very safe the whole of our trip in Egypt. Special mention also goes to our guide Medhat, who was very relaxed and informative, and let us enjoy the sights at our own pace.

I have been on several tours previously with other companies, but by far this Timeless tour was the most organised when it came to the day to day arrangements. There were 3 tours running in conjunction with each other throughout our time in Egypt. From the moment I arrived at the airport to my departure, I felt well looked after by all of the team.
Our tour guide Medhat was excellent. He was very relaxed and funny which suited our group, as well as extremely knowledgeable about all of the places we visited. Medhat is a fantastic tour guide and I would happily go on another tour with him again.
The itinerary does require early wake-up calls, but in order to see everything, it is a necessary evil. Unfortunately, the bus is not the most comfortable place to sleep, but it's all you have during the daytime. Our bus was large enough that each individual could have two seats to themselves for the majority of the trip, there were however 2 occasions where this was not possible as groups combined depending on who had decided to take the flight and those of us who slummed it in the bus for 14 hours.
The boat trip on the Felucca originally worried me as I definitely did not pack for the cooler evenings. However, we were provided thick blankets on the boat which kept you warm the entire night. The Felucca itself was good fun as we sailed along the Nile, relaxing and taking in the sights (this will feel like the first time you get to relax in the first few days).
In terms of cost, taking US dollars or using Egyptian pounds are your best choices. Everybody will use the two interchangeably often trying to lure you in with the $1 purchases. Never accept the first price, they will always haggle, often haggling themselves down as you attempt to walk away. When it comes to tipping and payments Medhat informed me of the cost of each of the entrances as well as the money for tipping as a group. The total came to 1610 Egyptian Pounds. When you enter toilets they will require you to pay, using between 1-5 Egyptian Pounds.
The food was generally good, but for me, a lot of foods were cooked in too much oil. All of the food was well cooked, there was lots of rice, chicken, beef, courgettes, aubergines, etc. The fruit was limited and almost non-existent in places. In Hurghada, the hotel is all inclusive so take full advantage of everything that is on offer.
The airport pick up and drop off was well organized. The days were long but worth every second especially the Felucca experience. The food was mostly fantastic. I liked the barbeque lunches we had most.
All the places we stayed at was in good shape. The resort in Hurghada was amazing! We even had the nice surprise of a towel swan on the cruise ship. The water pressure on the ship was terrible, but not a deal breaker.
Our tourguide, Medhat, was terrific. I am amazed by the way he remembers all these history and stories. He answered all our questions and made us all feel at home soon. Whenever my friend and I came across some trouble (as I often do) he was always very helpful and kind.
All in all a wonderful experience.

The bus trips were very long and the box meals were quite unappetizing (all they mostly had in them was carbs and no fruits). My girlfriend and I were the youngest on the trip and it was as if there were portions where we were singled out, especially the additional Alexandria trip. I believe I speak for the group we were with, but we all wish that we had much more time at the Pyramids of Giza. At least enough time to walk around on the inside. Then the additional camel ride that our tour guide offered, the fees were quite high compared to the other rates locals were offering. On top of that, our tour guide didn't even let the gentleman know that we already paid, immediately upon our destination they demanded more and we couldn't go back until we paid them. Last thing at the Beach Resort, Tour Guide or resort itself should have offered additional things to do there not just scuba, or snorkeling. Didn't find out that there was 4 wheeling there until it was already time to leave. Besides a few items of the entire trip that were unpleasant, a majority of it all was long hours on a bus, limited time at some of the high ticket places everyone wanted to go, and very information about history which was great. Overall this tour was my first and it was a good place to start! The Felucca overnight boat ride and crew were the best out of the entire trip, especially them singing and dancing with us all on the upper deck!

- For a westerner, the country itself can seem a mess when it comes to transportation, cleanliness or etiquette. Prepare yourself for a big cultural shock
- There are a lot of additional costs that are not included in the base package
- The food options were very bad. If you have any dietary restrictions, make sure you pack in some packaged food with you from home
All in all, considering the pros and cons, this trip was well worth doing

Planned perfectly for the itinerary: the chill resort in Cairo where we start and end, the luxurious Nile Cruise and a couple of days off at a massive aqua park/resort on the Red Sea. The only problem I had with the tour was not being aware that after a long day of touring then being transferred to my sleeper train that there would be nowhere to shower so therefore I didn’t get a proper bath until arriving to our river cruise, which was absolutely amazing. Mediate made sure we celebrated my birthday as well since my birthday was on one of our touring days. Absolutely a great experience. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Abu Simbel is a must-see excursion! A majority of our tour opted for it and it was well worth it so I wish they would just include it in the itinerary and plan better travel arrangements instead of leaving at 4am and having a 6 hr round trip drive.
The excessively long drives in between cities (6-7-8 hrs) on days that we're ALSO trying to see multiple sites are exhausting and uncomfortable on the crowded bus. Although they did plan restroom breaks well on the 15 hr long days, the official meal breaks were too far apart. Super early morning start times (3-4-5 am) seem to be the norm so they need to plan better breakfast options to go along with that.
The hot air balloon was an opportunity for an awe-inspiring view, but was too crowded - being squished in a tight box in constant physical contact with other people you don't know and can't rotate your spacing so you couldn't see well. It was NOT worth it with the way the company executed it. Also made the mistake of paying for the "professional footage" which was not worthwhile, not personalized nor provided in a format easy to download and share for the memories.
2 days in Hughada was good as we did snorkeling/scuba on Day 1, which took the entire day and then Day 2 was spent enjoying the water park at the resort. Would have liked the tour to offer more excursion options in Hurghada as I heard there were horseback rides, stargazing, and other local outings.
Being able to exchange currency was also a challenge that was not planned for and the tour could have assisted better or at least have been conscious of allowing time and place to visit a bank or currency exchange (they didn't allow time at the airport upon arrival).
But the accommodations and staff were all satisfactory and of course, the sites in Egypt are not to be missed! Bucket list was checked!

Meals not covered generally coast $10 plus any drinks. The cruise boat is far from 5 stars as others have mentioned. Our boat had continuous water issues. Not able to flush or shower a number of times. And drinks, including water, way overpriced on boat. This is a very very active tour with more than one very early morning. If you’re looking for lots of relaxation this is not the tour for you. But timeless executed well and I fell the value was there. Had zero issues with crap ongoing in Israel.

Our guides in both countries were very knowledgeable. As it was low season we were in a group of seven in Egypt and we had our own private tour in Jordan. The transport was comfortable, we opted for the overnight train to Aswan which was an experience! The Nile Cruise was beyond what we were expecting, it was truly 5* and felt like a luxury arriving to destinations on the boat instead of mini bus. On the days where lunch wasn't included our tour guide took us to amazing, local eateries which had loads of options for the group. One of us was vegetarian and there was always plenty of choice. There were some early starts however we did have days or afternoons to chill out and recharge so never felt exhausted during the tour.
We were disappointed with the all inclusive hotel as staff were not attentive and the service was slow, which was the opposite to our experience everywhere else. There were additional costs in Jordan which we were not informed about beforehand, such as entrance fees and tips. A sheet with additional costs, like the one provided for Egypt, would have been handy.
However overall this has been a once in a lifetime trip, we have made so many memories, meet great people and got to have a real indepth tour of Egypt and Jordan.

Group size was just 10, which meant less stress and a nicer atmosphere.
The food was good, especially on the Nile Cruise, with a wide variety of choices.
Kudos to Medhat, our guide, who was very knowledgeable of the history of the different sites we were visiting and was very helpful and patient all throughout.

Unfortunately, my room was near the engine so the entire room was rattling throughout the night. The resort was excellent (Gravity Hotel), clean room, nice buffet, alcohol limited to local drinks, premium extra.
Excursions: Very busy tour with very early morning starts. This is not suppose to be a relaxing trip, it's a GO-GO-GO vacation. Very worth it if you want to see as much as you can in a short amount of time. Covered all the major temples.
Transport: Coach buses were clean and comfortable.
Guide: Our guide was knowledgeable. You can tell he has lost his enthusiasm which is understandable as he is doing the same tour multiple times per year. I did not mind this, he was kind and respectful and got the job done.
Overall, this trip was a 5/5 in the context of PRICE for ME personally (I am very simple and easy-going). If you are looking for a more luxuriously experience, this is not the tour for you. If you're looking for a week filled with ancient ruins and temples but a budget price, this tour is for you.

The itinerary had a lot of early mornings and lots of driving, which was quite tiring. Where meals weren’t included, we actually didn’t have any option but to dine at the restaurants where the bus stopped, so it would have been better to just include all meals.
Accommodation in Egypt was not great and the star rating of hotels was always higher than what it should have been (eg. If it’s rated 4 stars, it will actually be 3 stars at best). This was especially so for the Nile cruise- this was definitely not 5 stars.
Communication was good during the Egypt part, but was terrible for the Jordan part. The Jordan itinerary was changed and we weren’t told till the morning of. We drove 6hrs to Wadi Rum, only to arrive at 9pm and then leave at 9am the following morning. Jordan accommodation was good, but nite that the Wadi Rum stay is a campsite, not a hotel.
Overall, was a worthwhile trip, but a number of aspects could have been organised better.

There were 12 of us, which I think is a very reasonable number. Luckily, they were all wonderful people. The accommodations were not extravagant but were comfortable and acceptable. The food was mostly delicious with some buffets just adequate. When we had to buy our own food, the tour guide brought us to excellent places to eat. Reasonable prices and those were my favorite food stops. The tour guide himself, Medhat, was excellent. Had a good sense of humor and so knowledgable about Egypt. We were lucky to have him. The transportation was also excellent. The tour buses were comfortable for the long journeys, the cruise boat was not luxurious but had a huge stateroom and lovely top deck. It was the experience that was amazing. I got 2 amazing massages on board for $30 each!!! We were going, going, going most of the time with very early wake ups but had about 2 full days for sleeping late and relaxing. I understand why, though. We saw SO MUCH. The worst part of tours like these are the average accommodations, and the lack of time as each site, in my opinion. But the ability to see so much and not have to think or plan, just show up, more than makes up for it. Egypt was magical. I always felt safe and taken care of. It was myself, a 50 year old woman and my 15 year old son. We will remember this forever. I recommended to everyone I know to take this tour. And I hope they do.

If you really lean towards a luxury-styled experience, I would recommend looking into businesses that specialize in that instead of a group tour.
We were blessed with Medhat as our tour guide. He was so knowledgable, humorous and kind. Everyone in our group mattered, and are needs were always met. We were lucky to have a solid group of 20 people with no drama - just fun laughter, memories and new friendships.

The tour highlights are perfect. You get to see all the history of Egypt and don’t really feel anything is lacking. Yes some days you will need to get up early (4am) to get to the locations, but you absolutely want to avoid mid day heat so this is understandable. I’m a big foodie and this was the biggest concern for me about traveling to Egypt. I have to say that the food did not impress. This is even less about the tour and more about cuisine in Egypt itself. The buffets were abundant and varied with different things to try, but middle of the road. Of course this is how it should be to appease the most palettes and stomachs, just be advised. The best meals I had were arranged by our guide Medhat actually! One was traditional breakfast on the street of Cairo, and the other was a boxed lunch on our bus ride to hurghada! I couldn’t believe that take out from a little family restaurant he prefers was going to be one of my best meals, but it really was. Sailing down the Nile was more fun and relaxing than I had expected and our tour group was a lot of fun. I went in May so it wasn’t crazy hot but you will sweat so be ready for that. Pay extra to go inside the pyramid, ride the camel, see the extra tombs if you aren’t tired and remember that on most days you will also get to relax after seeing the amazing sights in the morning and afternoon. I’m so glad I went with a tour in Egypt rather than figuring out all this on my own. I’ve been to over 60 countries, mostly on my own, so I know how to travel and Egypt is a place to have a guide and learn the history. I hope you also enjoy the trip. It was an unforgettable experience.

A representative picked us up from the airport and got us swiftly through the process of obtaining our visa and getting through customs. Our tour guide, Medhat, was wonderful! He was very knowledgeable and gave us great insight to the culture, things to be aware of (especially when it comes to possible scams at tourist sites; check out travel blogs about Egypt for more details on that and preparedness ahead of time), and knowledge about his country. I appreciated his calm demeanor, especially toward the end of the trip as our trip was affected slightly by sandstorms and rains as well as the COVID-19 pandemic that was really reaching a climax. Accommodations were perfectly fine. Oasis hotel is nothing too special, but were fair accommodations. Nile cruise, although interior is quite dated, it was clean and the food was excellent. The staff on the cruise was very friendly. The best hotel was the Samra Bay Hotel in Hurghada - that was an excellent step up for us. I HIGHLY recommend upgrading to the flight from Cairo to Aswan. Especially for anyone traveling from very far (such as Americans). You will already be tired and jet lagged, just avoid the 14 hour train/bus ride altogether. Abu Simbel is a MUST. It is absolutely incredible and well-worth the additional expenses. You will have a very early (3am or so) wake up call on that day because it is about a 3 and a half or 4 hour drive, but seriously, it is worth the money, worth the early morning start, and worth the drive. You can just sleep on the bus. There will be a lot of early mornings, but go into the trip knowing that and expecting that, and be appreciative for the incredible sites you will experience. I didn't sign up for the hot air balloon in Luxor, but unfortunately for those that did it had to be canceled due to the weather. Timeless Tours refunded everyone for any tours that were unable to be done. There are some hidden costs that everyone should know about. My friend and I were pretty prepared with these because we had read a lot of reviews and done our research, but some people on the trip were caught off guard. In the packet that Timeless Tours sends prior to departure, it does mention the tipping kitty, entrance fees, and tip for the tour guide at the end of the trip. However, it doesn't mention extras like a few of the meals when we're out or King Tutankhamun's tomb at the Valley of the Kings. Make sure to set aside cash for your visa when you arrive at the airport in Cairo, around 500 EGP (~$32) for the tipping kitty, 1675 EGP (~$106), around 100 EGP per DAY as a tip for your tour guide for the end of the trip, 300 EGP for entry to King Tut's tomb at the Valley of the Kings (you will go to any 3 pharaoh's tombs, but King Tut's is a separate ticket), and about 150 EGP for two additional meals. I am vegetarian so my meal was more like 100 EGP. You also will likely purchase all of your water and this will cost about 20 EGP per bottle. You go through a lot of it. I actually brought my Grayl water bottle and used that throughout my trip so I never had to buy water. I could fill it using the tap water and the Grayl filtered it perfectly. All in all, this trip was AMAZING. If you're trying to see Egypt in a short amount of time and really get the most of it, I highly recommend this tour. Lastly, I want to praise Timeless Tours for how well they handled everything as the COVID-19 outbreak really began to escalate. It was scary to be away from home in a foreign country, but I felt safe and at ease with Timeless Tours.

He is very knowledgeable and professional, we ate extremely happy about the effort he made in creating a fantastic Egyptian experience for us.
The accommodation at oasis wasn’t great, room was noisy and not clean. Moreover the food at oasis was awful, and the staff did not speak English, so we’ve often got the wrong meal! The service was very bad, and it took forever to get the meal replaced. Very low food quality overall with the exception of the cruise ship which was good.
Overall a positive experience, however food quality and hygiene standards in the hotel need improvements.

The Egyptian and Jordanian sites were 5 star attractions, but may be Tour Radar should take a closer look at the contracted companies they are using. Timeless did well enough, but Medhat seemed like he would have rather been anywhere else than with us (our group was pretty good and didn’t ask for much), but 500Trips in Jordan was a real surprise since we we given the impression that Timeless would be with us from start to finish. Our tour guide in Jordan told us he was only a guide and couldn’t answer our question for why we were told we’d be staying in one hotel but instead was located at another.
I understand the old adage that you get what you pay for. But do you know the one where “ you don’t make promises you can’t keep?”
Bottom line is this: I would use Tour Radar again, knowing what I know now! It was a trip of my life and one that I will always remember. The good and the bad!

We did the Egypt and Jordan 15 day tour. Egypt was good but the Jordan section left a lot to be desired. Beginning with the two days in Dahab. Below standard and a waste of valuable time. Below standard and a waste of valuable time. Considering that we had traveled so far to get to the Middle East, it was hard to understand why we spent two nights “trapped” in a below standard hotel room. We could’ve flown from Cairo straight to Jordan rather than to Dahab.
My rating reflects my frustration with the Jordan portion of the trip. No guide, just a driver.

We had a great time on this tour! Extremely well organised with everything running smoothly. Covered all of the major attractions we wanted to see in Egypt. However, be prepared for early morning starts (5.30am most mornings) and for an action packed itinerary with not much time for relaxation. We would definitely travel with Timeless tours again!
