I celebrate my 65 birthday in Paris, my dream vacation. 4 days was just enough time to see the main sites, Effiel Tower, the Louvre, and the Paris Opera house. Recommend booking the Effiel Tower skip the line ticket and tour. We went up in 20 minutes, bypassing a 3 hour line to get up there.

Overall, this was a very good tour and one we would happily recommend. The itinerary was well planned, with a great mix of famous attractions and places we weren't expecting to visit. Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared interesting information throughout the trip. We were pleasantly surprised by stops at places associated with Joan of Arc, which added something unique to the experience. Our arrival in Normandy couldn't have been better timed. We arrived just as the daily remembrance ceremony was taking place, making the visit especially moving and memorable. Mont Saint-Michel was another highlight—it was absolutely amazing, and although we had been concerned about the climb, the steps weren't nearly as difficult as we expected. The accommodation and food overnight was better than expected and good. Our only disappointment was with the language arrangements. We booked the tour believing it would be conducted in English only. However, the guide had to repeat all commentary in another language for just two passengers. While we understand the need to accommodate everyone, this significantly reduced the time available at several attractions and interrupted the flow of the commentary. We felt this impacted our overall experience and the amount of time we had to explore the sights. The return bus journey was also disappointing. There were no toilet facilities on the coach, and no stops were made to allow passengers to use restrooms or simply refresh during the trip. In addition, hot drinks and food with strong smells were not permitted on the bus, which made the long journey back less comfortable than it could have been. Despite these issues, the itinerary, knowledgeable guide, and unforgettable experiences at Normandy and Mont Saint-Michel made this a worthwhile tour. We have already recommended to our friends who are travelling and want to experience these sights.
