Annie was our guide, and she did an excellent job! The trip was very well organized, and Annie was very friendly, helpful & informative. I would highly recommend this trip and we enjoyed the camping option. You get a lot of "spare time" in Yosemite Valley and Annie helped us with which hikes, activities etc to do. This trip is one of our favorite ones we have done with a tour company!

Fall brings rich colors to Yosemite Valley and the hiking conditions turn just right. With fewer people around, you can really take your time getting photos of Half Dome reflecting in the streams and meadows. Our travelers particularly enjoy the combined Yosemite and Sequoia National Park tours when fall colors peak - the giant sequoia groves feel more peaceful with smaller crowds. You'll still get great views on the Mist Trail without the summer crowds, and guides know the perfect spots to watch climbers on El Capitan through spotting scopes. Some tours end with time in San Francisco when Karl the Fog starts clearing more often, making for nice Golden Gate Bridge photos.

Winter brings out some really special moments in California's parks. The Tournament of Roses tour lets you peek behind the scenes of Pasadena's New Year's parade - you'll see those incredible floats up close, each one made completely from flowers and natural materials. Death Valley National Park works perfectly in winter too, when you can actually enjoy hiking without the heat.
