We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day tour. We saw a wide variety of different locations: Temples, Waterfalls, Rice Terraces, Beaches, Monkey Forest etc. Our guide, Kadek, was first class, couldn't have been better. Very friendly, easy to talk to with good English and always informative about all things related to Bali. Always willing to help with anything we needed, such as stopping at a pharmacy when my wife wasn't well. We heartily recommend Kadek for consideration in the Guide of the Year Award. We caught the end of the rainy season and Kadek rearranged our schedule a couple of times, to visit indoor sites instead of outdoor ones during bad weather, and to take account of a temporary situation at one site we were due to visit. There really weren't any negatives to our experience. We felt by the end that we had seen a lot of temples, but then Temples is part of the tour name! The schedule was very busy, with several early starts and long hours of driving, so we were glad of a few days of relaxation after the tour, before returning home. That's just the nature of the tour and, in our younger days, it wouldn't have been an issue. Overall, a great tour, which we would recommend to anyone wanting to see the same sights that we wanted.

I spent the past two weeks traveling through Bali, and as it was my first time visiting, having Hendri as our group leader made the experience so much easier and more enjoyable. From the start, he was incredibly helpful, assisting with rides from the airport and even helping arrange our taxi back when it was time to leave. Hendri is a fun hearted, genuine, and very happy-go-lucky person who clearly loves the job he has. Having him as our leader for the trip made everything run smoothly. He kept our group organized and on schedule the entire time, making sure we made it to every destination without stress. His positive attitude and sense of humor really added to the experience and made each day more enjoyable. He also shared so much knowledge about Balinese culture, explaining traditions and the reasons behind them in a way that helped connect them to my own culture back home in Canada, and the differences between each culture. It made the trip feel much more meaningful than just visiting the tourist sights. It was also incredibly helpful to have someone who could speak the local language. Whether we were navigating markets where vendors were eager to make a sale, arranging taxis, trying to explain complicated food orders or allergies to the restaurants. Hendri helped communicate clearly and made the whole experience feel much more comfortable and safe. I will be recommending intro travel to my friends and speak very highly about Hendri. His friendly personality and local knowledge make the experience so much better, and as a solo traveler it really made the whole trip feel easier and more relaxed.
We loved the different experiences we had during our tour. Especially the first day with the village experience / rice patties, white-water rafting, and monkey forest. One negative - we upgraded our hotel and that changed from staying in Ubud for 3 nights and then Kuta for 3 nights to staying in Kuta the whole time. We loved our time and activities in the north and would rather have stayed there. We never would have upgraded if we knew that now not only wouldn’t we stay in Ubud, but that we’d have to travel a lot if hours in the car each day (and even worse for our guide Gusti who had to drive back and forth from Ubud to Kuta twice each day. A the very least we should have been told that the hotel change would mean changing the location we were to stay in.
