Our travelers particularly enjoy autumn's harvest - you'll find the best Arzúa cheese and Melide's famous octopus right in season. The Portuguese Coastal path from Porto offers ideal walking weather, and our travelers love mixing seaside trails with historic stops in Vigo and also Redondela. From April through May, our French Way tours starting in León draw both cyclists and walkers with great conditions for varied terrain. Keen cyclists choose the full Roncesvalles route in spring, covering between 47-95km daily through countryside in bloom. The Sarria to Santiago section really shines with wildflowers lining the paths and local farms selling fresh produce. Those longer 27km days between Melide and Arzúa feel much nicer in the gentler spring weather.
